When my face went into a winter flaky meltdown this year, I tried CeraVe Healing Ointment and LaRoche-Posay Toleraine Double Repair lotion. They didn't irritate my skin, but they didn't stop the flaking. Eventually, I surrendered and bought my tried and true Paula's Choice Resist Intensive Repair Cream. I use it twice a day. The flakes stopped in a few days.

I'm gonna try that cleansing balm. I don't wear makeup but I like them to remove my SPF. Also for red light you should really consider investing in a more powerful device! I have the Hooga PRO300 (the one that comes on a stand) and it's incredible and it can treat your whole face, neck and chest and all you have to do is sit in front of it. It's a really powerful unit and the price is very reasonable.

Thank you for all the amazing recommendations! I have and love many of these. Although I recently picked up the BYOMA face mist and while it was hydrating it broke me out terribly! I’m usually acne prone on my jaw line but after using that I was getting acne all over even on my cheeks which is rare. Apparently oleic acid is high on the comedogenic scale so that’s probably the culprit. As far as I can see most of their products contain oleic acid, even the clarifying serum. It’s a bummer but they definitely seem to work for others 🤷🏼♀️

Video idea : What to do with weak hair - or the one that is "too soft"... Everyone keeps making videos about how to make your hair feel softer and more silky and what not, but I have opposite problem. My hair is too weak, too soft. It used to feel fuller and stronger, but now it's not. I feel like it needs protein - but a lot of "protein" treatments have a lot of moisture in them also. So kind of stuck here...
