Fantastic interview!! Love the moment that was taken to address A League of Their Own. I think there is so much beauty in art that doesn’t relate or appeal to everyone but finds its own following for being honest and truthful in its stories.

Love that Abbi acknowledged how good an interviewer you are Perri! That must feel good.

Abbi talking about the ALOTO cancellation and how there should be space for smaller shows hits so true. It’s been said already but with the current industry there’s just NO space for anything to grow. It fucking sucks. Not everything needs to be Stranger Things. I wish we could’ve gotten season 2 - it took the movie and really built upon it. Hope we can get the scripts someday so we know how it ends, but even then. Glad Abbi and a lot of the other actors could move on to other interesting looking projects. Excited to see No Good Deed too! Thank you for the wonderful interview again Perri.

I watched this interview a few days ago, but I am still thinking about it. The part about Abbi leaving drama school to find something else that was a better fit is exactly what I needed to hear even though I'm not an actor. I also got emotional hearing her talk about League of Their Own being one of many queer shows canceled too soon in the past few years.

Re-watching the HRC speech hits different after watching this interview. How frustrating. Loved A League of Their Own.
