Hi Abbi, I love all your jewelry and simple, yet very helpful explanation. Realizing this is an older video, I don't know if you'll respond, but I'll ask anyway. I have a lot of different sized seed beads, including 6-0's (very inexpensive from years ago) and want to know if you think they'd be ok to use in this type of jewelry? They're not uniformed, but still very pretty beads. Thanks for your time & teachings, Stella in Texas.

Hi, I just found your channel, and I love wrap bracelets in general, but I really like this bracelet for its simplicity. I've made 4. But my question is which type of wire did you use because a couple of my bracelets seem kind of stiff near the clasp... I used Beadalon 19?. I did another one using thread and it is much more supple. So my question is what type of beading wire did you use.? And how long was the piece of chain. I had to adjust my length of chain afterwards. Thanks!
@AbbiBerta5 жыл бұрын
I recommend using Medium Soft Flex. In my opinion, it is the best quality jewelry wire on the market. I usually adjust the chain to the wearer if I can, but if I'm unsure of the person's wrist size, I will leave a couple of inches beyond what I think they might wear just in case they need it larger. If they don't, it's a cute dangle!

Hi new sub 👋🏻😄. Question what sizes are used to make this bracelet? You mentioned that there are five sizes used. Although the only sizes I was able to catch were sz 8,11 & 6 .Please what all sizes were used to make ?

Hi there! Thanks for subscribing! I think what I was referring to was the five different sections of beads, rather than five different sizes. You're correct with the sizes you caught!

Perhaps a dumb question, but I am very new to this. What size seed beads would work with the soft flex wire you are using in the video? Thank you!
@AbbiBerta9 жыл бұрын
Traci Hayner Vanover Not a dumb question at all! The smallest I would recommend using would be size 11s. You can use some 15s on the md. size Soft Flex wire, but it depends on the manufacturer and finish of the seed beads. Thanks for watching!

I have made the wrap bracelets that you show on here and they turned out great. I was wondering if you made the pretty necklace that you are wearing and if so, how did you make it? Are they crystals?
@AbbiBerta9 жыл бұрын
+Judith Hamilton Thank you! I did make it. They're natural quartz crystal nuggets. I strung them on silk and knotted between each bead. I then connected the silk to chain. If you've never done knotting, we have a video on it!

Hey i don't have a crimp tool but i have 5 different types of pliers, will they work for the ending bead?
@AbbiBerta9 жыл бұрын
+venus toran A lot of people use a flat nose or chain nose pliers to squeeze crimp beads. It definitely won't be as secure as a crimp tool but it could work until you get an actual crimping pliers! When you decide to get one, check out our Magical Crimper: www.beadplace.net/apps/webstore/products/show/2315739

What gauge wire do you need? I have beading wire but it is 28 gauge. Got all the beads strung but then the wire just broke every time I tried to put the crimp piece on

You'll want to use a flexible jewelry wire, not a gauged wire. You can find Medium Soft Flex at www.beadplace.net.

dawn Amendola Hi Dawn! I'm sorry there were issues with the sizing. Did you make sure your wrist measurement was tight to your wrist? It needs to be your actual wrist size and not your bracelet size.
I don’t know if this was an earlier video or not, as I’ve watched a few of yours now and they’re usually perfectly framed, but I hate to tell you this one the main thing we can see is a clear view of your front, we can’t see the beads much, nor your smile, which I’d much rather see ! I stopped watching after a couple of minutes. Hope maybe you’ll redo this one at some point as your brilliant at teaching us what you do so effortlessly 🙂
