I live on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico and we have beautiful white sand beaches. Your coast with the cliffs and trails is another wonder of the ocean with fantastic views. Thanks for bringing them to us. You have a gift for production, editing and description that most people do not have.

A lovely walk in late Spring. I and a work colleague did Weymouth to Bournemouth over the 1994 August Bank Holiday long weekend. Train to Weymouth, explored the town, one night in a cheap but clean B 'n' B; next day walked to Lulworth Cove via the Smuggler's Inn at Osmington Mills; stayed overnight in Lulworth and went to the nearby Castle Inn for a few pints of Cider; next day walked to Swanage; stayed overnight in the Ship Inn; and on the Monday walked via Old Harry's Rocks to the Chain Ferry at Sandbanks where the South West Coast Path officially starts or ends! Walked along Bournemouth Promenade to the Pier and thence via the lovely Lower Gardens to the railway station for the train back to Portsmouth!

I spent years walking the Dorset coastline in my younger years most often from Bridport to Weymouth or Weymouth to Swanage thanks for the reminder how beautiful it is, unfortunately 35 +years of rambling/hiking has taken it's toll on my knees & have to stick to more level pathways these days

This brings back fond memories for me, when I stayed @ Lulworth Cove last month. I did the Durdle Door walk twice, second time of which at sunset, & i got up to Scratchy Bottom before the light started failing so it was time to head back to the lodge. Such a beautiful place, very special indeed ❤️

Man, really enjoyed watching Abbie. Durdle Door and Scratchy Bottom are two of the best names I’ve ever heard. Also when you said threee miiiles you almost sounded like an Arkansan.. it was really cool.

Amazing views! Only been to durdle door once. Didn't realize it was owned by someone.

There's a sign on the cliffs, reading: No photography, filming or painting for publication is permitted without express permission! How on earth can anyone own the coast, let alone the view is beyond me.

Just discovered you on the tube. Extremely well done, thanks for sharing. The hiking in Canada is much wilder for the most part, but of course not as ancient.

Another great video - love it out here especially when the skylarks are in full song. Check out the Smuggler's Path between White Nothe and Ringstead Beach for a true hair raising experience !

Start off in Weymouth, walk to Lulworth Cove and then catch the 'bus to Wool Station for the train back to Weymouth. The Smuggler's Inn at Osmington Mills, where the famous landscape painter John Constable stayed during his honeymoon, is a good place to stop for lunch!

A lovely walk with some stunning scenery and views. Dorset (with it's "strange" place names, Piddletrenthide being one) is a beautiful part of the country. Congratulations on not having an ice cream...very strong willed I must say. I'm afraid I would have succumbed! Great video.

Interesting coast line Abbie. Made me think about the old Man of Hoy up in the Orkneys but everything I have seen of it the weather is harsher. Thanks for sharing with us.

Definitely harsher weather up there! Thanks for watching :)

Abbie's walks are a million times more engaging than any of those presented by Julia Bradbury.

I'd love to see Abbie's version of Julia Bradbury's walk along the Rodwell Trail - the disused railway line from Weymouth to Portland which passes close to Sandsfoot Castle!

Superb Abbie. Temperature above 10 degrees and the angelic Skylarks were two of many highlights along the way. All that was lacking was a cream scone or did I miss it lol?
