All of the music playlists Abbie has posed have been perfect for me right now! I writing dark fairytale retelling mashups about three sisters Snow White, Rose Red and Briar Black. When their mother is accused of being a witch and the sisters are separated, they each go on a journey to discover who they were meant to be. Briar becomes Maleficent, the protector of the Enchanted Forest seeking revenge against the crown. Rose joins a gang of bandits in the woods working against the Huntsmen and becomes known as the Red Hood. Snow ends up trapped with Mother Gothel who teaches her 'political power is greater than magic power', and sets her on the path of scheming to becoming the Evil Queen. This playlist is perfect timing.

Wow, so last year I listened to your playlists often when writing and it was one of the most productive years, nay thé most productive year. Now I've switched to different music for a while to something that was more fitting with the tantrums my character was having xD Anyway ever since November I've just been at a lack of motivation and inspiration and I just don't feel the way I did before: happy and excited to write! I clicked this randomly and around the 48 second mark I heard this little bell that took me right back to last year March: listening to your playlists in my chair with a cup of dandelion latte. Branches knocking gently on the window, begging for my attention, because 'Hey! There's sparrows on my branches. Look!' And no matter how long I looked at them for, it was never too long, because as naturally as they flitted from branch to branch my fngers skipped from key to key. Such a wonderful feeling and... This tiny, inconspicuous bell has apparently been linked to it, because it all came rushing back. Thank you for your playlists. I had not expected them to have quite this effect on me Ü

AHHH this will be so good for one of my wips tho, this is exactly the mood!! 😆 It has a fairytale woods magical nostalgic childhood vibe like something from Pixar or Narnia, because of the MC's imagination and love for stories, but progressively gets darker and kind of Gothic as his world gets shattered and he is inspired by his fairytale heroes to become a vigilante and fight his "monsters" in the world Abbie, your videos have been my life saver while outlining this story and writing my MC, the change in my writing has been so DRASTIC and tbh you're my favorite channel on here, I get super excited every Wednesday 😂💚 so thank you !!

This is amazing! Thank you, Abbie! I'm writing a story where the MC isn't the hero. i want them to be like the sidekick. i thought it would be cool to go against the normal plot where the MC is the villain's main focus and threat. The MC is constantly supporting the hero emotionally and never letting anyone see how broken they themselves are. They constantly want to just break down and cry, but they're so afraid of being alone with themselves that they hold it in, never letting anyone see the pain they are hiding. The villain, however, is the only one who sees how broken they are, and uses it to get to the hero. I don't have a solid plot yet, but i really want to play on this idea.

Okay, it's rare for me to comment on things but I need to say it: I don't know what was put in this track to make it so effective, but this has become my go-to background music for my writing sessions! The darker tracks specifically have scratched my brain in such a way where scenes in my fantasy-based magical girl fairy novel that I was struggling with before have become darker and more interesting (how I want them mind you). I've never been able to write creepy stuff effectively before hearing this, because anytime I've tried it's sounded really juvenile. So, thank you for this!

I loved this immersive session! This gave me the vibe of doing something forbidden, and thinking 'just a second more, what could go wrong?'. This is such a popular theme going on in fantasy books and stories, and I also saw myself as a wizard using a dark spell to see the future and (such as this immersive music) my mind got more and more corrupted by it. I can't wait to see more 'getting darker and spookier' asmrs!

This will be the first time I've outlined a novel. Usually, I have an idea and run with it. I've had an idea for a fantasy novel for some time but never had a deep desire to pursue the idea. I recently read the four Stormlight Archive books and found that I enjoy fantasy. Fortunately, the magic system is simple so I will have more time to concentrate on the several sophisticated cultures found in the world. These are all things I haven't written venue and I'm looking forward to seeing what will happen. Very excited about this challenge. I had no idea until recently that it was a thing. The world is a pretty cool place sometimes. Thanks for the awesome video.
