As 😭 we are about Gregory, I do understand where Janine is coming from. Janine has never had anyone in her life who has loved her unconditionally or unselfishly before. (Due to messed upbringing with her crazy ass trifling mom and her immature unreliable irresponsible ex-boyfriends), so when good man like Gregory comes along and wants to give her the love she's never known, she is immediately scared off by that. Because she doesn't know how to recognize it nor receive it, that's sad. Janine has this huge capacity to love others by she doesn't love herself, and that's a huge red flag!!! So, for the time being, "Janine just needs to do Janine." Janine is a wonderful person. But, she has a lot insecurities, self-hatred, fear, and childhood trauma that she seriously needs to work through in order to receive the unconditionally unselfish ❤that she deserves!!! Most of all, she needs to learn how to ❤ the amazing woman she is!!! You can't love anybody until you love yourself first!!! So, as much as we want Gregory & Janine to be a couple, I think they both have some issues they need to overcome first before they become official. I think for season 3. Quinta Brunson is writing more character growth Janine, Gregory, and all of the other teachers. We will see a lot of change and growth in Janine. She is more assertive, stronger, confident, and aggressive but still be the same sweet, kindhearted, beautiful person we all know and love ❤️. Janine will be much better at standing up for herself and loving herself. And we will see growth in Gregory as well. And I do believe Quinta is writing a much better, more realistic love story for Gregory and Janine ❤ ( and not recycle the same tv slow burn couples love stories of the past), but trying to show us how love and relationships work in real life but with a comic twist. I believe that when Janine & Gregory do become an official couple, it will be epic and worth the wait ❤❤❤

I wish ladies would take a page from their own advice, I've seen this in real life where some girls are too afraid to take that step but then end up with guys with the excuse of "Let's just see where this goes" One of my friends who was married, had 2 kids was flirting with another guy at work, and the thing is her husband was the worst to her, The young man she was flirting with I honestly couldn't blame her, he was sweet charming handsome, and I think to my self, I know that you have to make alot for any of this to work out but it's worth the effort, ditch that dude for him, at least have a night with him for yourself, and she hinted that they did, so I mean again moral of the story not everything is cut and dry, and I know it's not easy but you deserve to be with someone you love
