I've only seen snippets of translation so this was much appreciated. I probably would have voted for Mark too. They each got to pick their own concept and a true story based on his parents is so lovely. But also, Mark's was simple and sincere, not only the story but his portrayal of it. It rang true and the song was beautifully done. Others had more drama, sure, and they were adorable or funny or touching (or, in the case of Baekhyun, like a dagger to my heart). But for simple romance, sincerity wins the day for me.

This is my ranking based on their acting and storyline. 1st - Baekhyun (His acting skills was superb. The storyline made me cry bucket of tears. This only proves the point that you don't need to shed tears to let the viewers feel your pain and love. I can sincerely feel how much he loves her and the acceptance of what happened.). 2nd - Ten (He was very natural. His gaze towards the girl shows full of emotions. One minute he is joking but when the girl looks away he gaze at her like she is the most beautiful girl in the world. This made me cry as well because I can sincerely feel his love towards his girlfriend. The proposal was also very unique. Love the mirror scene and the big diamond ring. Lol.) 3rd - Taeyoung (A natural actor as well. I loved how we straightforwardly confessed towards the girl. Also eternal and unchanging love was so rare which made the story very interesting. I cried here too. ) 4th - Mark (His acting was so natural, manly and mature which is different from his personality. I saw him on a different light. I love his gaze towards the girl. It feels so sincere. His singings skills was superb as well.) 5th - Kai (His acting was very manly and matured. I love the plot twist. He is sometimes funny but when he becomes serious you can feel his love towards the girl. The bracelet part was an interesting addition in the story.) 6th - Lucas (It looks like this is not his first time to act. Great acting skills. The first half of the story was on point. It is just weird that he is dancing while the girl is dying although I know this is in the script. The shot was well made though.) 7th - Taemin (I love him but his acting was kind of stiff. I love how she called her though when she was leaving. This scene was very manly. Also, I loved when the back of the car opened. I also love the song choice though to express his feelings and the flashback.) Overall, they did well. More of this shows for SuperM please. I am really a fan.

Best storyline Baekhyun, Ten and Mark Best acting Ten natural, Taeyong sincere and Baekhyun emotional Taemin is definitely a better artist than actor hahah (he admitted himself) Kai improvement tremendously (better than Chanyeol and Joy reunited no hate just facts you know guys) in acting both in terms of emotions and deliverance of speech. I think Mark needs a little more practice to not be awkward in deliverance and he will be flying colors in a good production cuz he has the emotions. As for Lucas well he got the expressions fixed, the body language but the emotion was kind of lacking. But the boy is camera ready, Hollywood watch out ! Mark and Lucas counterbalance their own weakness.

speaking of the romantic aspects Mark's and Ten's were the best, so I'm really happy for Mark! However, especially Taeyong's and Baekhyun's Drama have a deeper meaning which was very appealing to me. I also loved the contrast of Lucas' Drama. So with the acting, storyline and recording/editing, the three of them would be my top 3. im gonna talk about my favourites for me, as a romantic drama, mark really did do the best, his acting was really natural and sincere. the vibe was so full of love but didn't seem too forced. but i also think ten's idea of proposal was amazing and his chemistry with the actress was pretty impressive too, so if he didn't go so overboard with the loveydoveyness he may have won. lucas' drama was shockingly very sophisticated (minus the dance part) his expressions were REALLY on point and well timed and tbh him speaking Cantonese was a huge plus point. it's very hong kong drama style hong kong companies pls cast him for me actually baekhyun's had the most impact, it felt the most like an actual drama that got me longing to see more of what happened between them. his acting skills are seriously another level compared to the rest. he knows when and how to place his speech and pauses, and even the way his eyes move can mean so much, watching him was sooo emotionally engaging

The reason why mark won as the romantic guy is because his film was associated with real life, and he also used his own talent for this, winning the hearts of many audiences by sweetly singing and playing piano, what a genius indeed. As many fans commented that Taeyong, Lucas, or Ten should win. Ten was actually a candidate for me to win because his idea was really amazing, and the chemistry was really good. Despite that it was just a date, but I love it bexause he was being romantic, and being a good actor. While Taeyong is a really good actor as well, and very romantic too. His story was really my style however it was quite impossible because of him being immortal, it was out of the box indeed. Lastly Lucas, he was an amazing actor too, but I guess it became an action rather than romance. We are looking for a romantic guy here. Why is no one talking about kai's 😭 his acting was so genuine, his lines felt natural and not forced to be one of those usual mushy romantic lines. You'll really feel various emotions such as longing and sincerity even if there weren't much skinship. I do agree that Ten's was natural (it felt like he's rlly that way irl!!!) and really romantic with all his body language. but in terms of overall including the plot, it's really Kai's for meee. Lucas’ story is the most movie material. His looks, his aura, the plot.. the character suits him well but i think he did not took it so seriously and just had fun with the experience. I still like it tho. Ten and Mark were the most real. They’re not acting but just being themselves. I already know Baek would be good at this.
