The sellers at the market are very nice, especially the female traders, they always say we're brothers when they find out I'm from Indonesia. and also I like Thailand because it is Muslim friendly and I once prayed at the Darus Sa'adah mosque in Phra Pradaeng, Samut Prakan district. I’m an Indonesian, someone who used to live in Tangerang, moved to Bekasi after married (both cities I mentioned are near from Jakarta), but Bandung is one of my favorite cities, and it surely has different lovely vibes that make us always miss Bandung. Fyi, many of the glamping site locate one to two hour from bandung city hub, so you probably need to rent a motorbike or a car, it's easy to get a grab car to take you there, but you gonna have a hard time to find one to get back to the city

Bandung is my lovely hometown. I love how now they have many cafes and tourist destination. There are many convenient transport options to get there fron Jakarta: cars, trains and now high speed train. However, transport WITHIN the city is another thing. Other than Braga, most of Bandung is not walkable, sidewalks are not developed in most parts of the city, the roads are narrow, so traffic gets pretty bad durung holidays. So that's the drawbackof Bandung.

Try visit KAWAH PUTIH ( WHITE CRATER ), vast sulfur Lake with blue green tosca color, its amazing view you feel like the other planet, located around 25 km southern part of Bandung, and Ciwidey glamping with vast tea plantation, bring the jacket recomen its quite chill there and Ranca Upas , And GUNUNG TANGKUBAN PERAHU , active vulcano and Orhid forest, located around 20 km northern part of Bandung, you can drive car till the edge of the crater,..and in Bandung city its famous for culinary and many nice cafe and FO ( Factory Outlet ) , Rumah Mode, and shoping mall Cihampelas Walk ( Ciwalk ) & Paris van Java shopping arcade

2:22 fork and spoon aren't always used at certain Indonesian restaurant 😁 And as Indonesian, we don't use fork and spoon when eating this kind of food. So they don't provide fork and spoon but they will give it upon request.

you should try to visit mt. tangkuban perahu and ciater hot spring in the weekdays to avoid crowding. ask around at your hostel for guide transport and accommodation to get there for convenience.

That "chutney" is actually called Sambal, you'll find many different types of sambal along the way as you travel in Indonesia. They're like sides or sauce to eat with your main food. Most of them are spicy, some are sweet, sour and some are VERY spicy.. So be careful, take a tiny dab to test how spicy it is before eating too much on your first bite.
