I get excited every time I hear you, or any ASMRtist says "If bright lights aren't for you then skip this video" the whole thing that makes it work is the brightness of the lights, when dull it doesn't dilate the eyes and thus doesn't cause any tingles or whatever, I love bright lights for visual ASMR

Since we’re on the topic of lights n things, your brain perceives red or red coloured light as the most relaxing, in opposition to blue or white light. This is because white and blue light often trick the brain into thinking it’s still day and delaying the release of melatonin. In contrast, red light often ups the production of melatonin, making you sleepy faster!
