Entharo Mahanubhavaru. Bewitching and melodious. You have touched the Divine .This can happen only by Grace
this is beyond insanity. the thing is, there are a lot of musicians who can sing a lot of Ragas. But then, there are only very few musicians who can actually sing a Raga spontaneously when requested. this means that they must have practiced numerous songs in all different ragas. and being able to memorize, store and reciprocate it on request is really awesome. kudos to this guy!

Maybe this is not spontaneous and he has planned it out before. Maybe when he was learning the different ragams, he would think of a particular song or motif to remember each one. So he just uses the song's melody to inspire him. But still some major skills.

Decades ago, Veena Balachander held concerts lasting upto 3 hours, showcasing ragas non-stop (through alapanai, thanams, swarams as you did) switching continuously from one raga to another. It was scintillating. We fans would throng the venues. I have been wondering whether there will ever be a vocalist who will dare to do similarly. Now I know the answer. Only Abby can do it. We cannot wait for your concerts in Chennai. I dare say, you owe it to us Abby!

Being open to new things, but not forgetting your roots. 😭❤️ I am right now regretting leaving my Hindustani Classical Vocal & Bharatanatyam classes when I was young. OMG! There are totally 72 melakartha ragas in Carnatic music. He has outdone with his talent of singing a phrase from the progeny of selected ragas at ease. These 13 mins by Abby showed the ebb and flow of the seven notes in various combinations. A : Absolute talent within a B : Boy who B : blows the others and makes them Y : yearn to listen to many more.

He is like a live computer ... Wonder how much of a practice and a cleverness... Although he’s grown away from his country.. (recently watched his ted-x talk) Most importantly his karnatic raag singing is so soft to hear.. Extraordinary talent ..!!!! Hat’s off and heartiest Love from Sri Lanka❤❤❤🇱🇰🇱🇰🇱🇰

I just became fan of yours sir! I had discontinued my music journey of 14years but you became my inspiration to enter to this ocean on devine- Carnatic classical music. This form is not for entertainment as guru Thyagaraja said but it's to full fill the hunger of soul to reach the Lord. Your voice, svara shudhi says your effort and love for music😍 All I can say is thanks😊
