Right before Disney bought abc they were at #2, then it went downhill when they bought them.

by late 96 ABC went from #1 to #2 and by 1997 CBS would pass ABC and slipped #3. CBS was able to rebound by 1997.

ABC was a great era of time during this period. It was either #1 with CBS or #1 NBC. I think it the axe fell when Disney bought the company in 1995 by 1997 the network went from #1 to #2 then #3 and took em a while to rebound and that wasn't until the mid 2000s. I always liked this promo.
