Ima figure skater so here's a tip it's gonna be hard at first and as u improve as well (Not sure if that helped I don't think it did) so be prepared lol

destinyyy It’s going to be hard at first, but the more you train and practice it gets easier. Also don’t go all out buying skates until you know what you want. Make sure you find a good coach and good rink! Good luck.

My advice for a catch foot is, when you're in your camel think of kicking your butt with you foot, so when you go to grab your foot it will be right there. Also if you still have trouble finding your foot you can try to bring your free arm down. I hope this helps :)

Nice video and great skating! At last I know the name of the thing I'm doing. I thought I was a loop jump, but its a Walley! I have no figure skating experience and I'm challenging myself to do as many moves as possible in my hockey skates, and since I don't have the teeth at the front I find it difficult to do the loop jump and so many of my jumps seem to have a Walley in them. The troube is that its difficult to get any height without a toe pick. My ultimate aim is a double axle in my hockey's. This is going to take ages I think. I'll use your video to see how many letters I can tick off in the next six months.

Aah-Liyah Strong well figure skaters dance on blades and ice is water so they call it hydroblade. For roller skating u arne on ice so it looks more like a hunter is down on the ground. At least this is how I see it. I love roller skating but I'm not that good on ice.

Your loop was a double loop. And I think in a Russian split jump you have to touch you toes otherwise its just a split jump.
