Here is the first of the 1976 Videos I will put up. I will gradually go from the primaries to election night. This is the first clip of the bunch, which focuses about a variety of subjects such as the Ford/Reagan primary battle and the 76 winter olympics. Ted Koppell is the anchor. Enjoy!

Here I am checking my email while listening to this broadcast in another tab and I hear "a typical emergency is a bitch unable to give birth". That completely threw me for a loop and I immediately returned back to this tab lol. I even had to rewind it to make sure I heard that right. I mean I know that's the old term for a female dog but you know, this day and age when we hear bitch we don't think of an animal.

I was 5yrs old and remember the presidential race. The bicentinal craze and how dry the news was. Closest to transparent we will see again in our lives. Who is this girl opening this program. Hand picked im sure with the family name Smith in the language of the parking lot she is from....
