We are AUSTRALIA…. Repeat again… WE ARE AUSTRALIA! We are AUSTRALIANS who were never asked if we wanted this. It was forced on us. Everywhere I look now it’s nothing like the Australia from yester year. It looks like I’m actually in another country. I agree with the lady in the audience. How rude and disrespectful was that speaker to talk like that. What a load of bullshite!!!

Germany is currently looking at creating similar programs to return many of the troublesome Syrian refugees they have accepted over recent years in light of the fall of the Assad regime. Both these countries are paying a huge societal price for their misguided *_humanitarianism._*

What is even more disgusting than the ABC is that the woman on Q&A is Anne Aly, currently the Minister for Early Childhood Education and Minister for Youth in the Albanese ministry. She *_totally represents_* the arrogant, condescending left-wing views of the Labor/ABC coalition.

Big difference between multiculturalism and multiethnicity. A cohesive society needs shared, consistent values to operate peacefully. Multiculturalism by its very nature precludes this.

This lady is factually incorrect. Multiculturalism was certainly a political movement which was never voted on but has been accepted as most immigrants have assimilated (however this is a problem now). Also to argue multiculturalism adds to democracy is just ridiculous. The English brought democracy to Australia plain and simple.

Yes she is that head nodder. Based on listening to her and watching her facial expressions, she doesn't come across as well educated, smart or in tune with what we the people want. Instead she's all about pleasing the hoards in scarves, that have invaded our country and making them feel happy at putting down those of Anglo Saxon heritage.

A uniform culture naturally develops to ensure everyone knows how to interact with others more easily. It helps social cohesion. Suddenly dropping large numbers of people with very different cultures into a society is bound to cause friction. I'd say ordinary Aussies have been incredibly tolerant of others flooding in. But we can only stand so much.

Audience members fill out a form to go on QandA. They obviously choose members to ask their selected questions, but just like the panel they stack the audience with 60-80% left leaning voters. The form asks potential Audience members ‘ if you were to vote which party would you ..’ It’s a clown show and has been noticeable , for me since 2008, which was the GFC and when many institutions rolled out new core narrative shifts, while people fretted over finances and life. This at the time was when Rudd apologised and a plethora of articles came out of Oxford Uni on the ‘Frontier Wars’ This then gave leverage to the Muslim community at the time, and so on and so forth.

Multiculturalism is organised chaos, nothing wrong with multiethnic society but different cultures rubbing up against each other is a cause for chaos. Let's keep Aboriginal culture alive and thriving but where does it end? In civil violence eventually. The world isn't ready to come together yet, unfortunately. The only way the world comes to together as one is when we share strikingly similar cultures throughout and we are nowhere close to that yet. I hope and pray for the day but you can't force these things it's an evolutionary system.

Ironic that so many Australians support abortion including late term. Long declining birthrates mean a dependence on immigration to sustain the economy and workforce./ Migrants in Australia should be welcomed but have to obey the laws of Australia . Numbers have to be controlled.

The best way to stop racism is to stop talking about it. Australia is not racist as the 1967 vote shows with 92% of Australia voting to allow the indigenous vote. No other issue has seen such a resounding win.

Why waited until 1967? Was Australia racist until 1967?
@fredbear-sf9st
@fredbear-sf9st 5 күн бұрын
@ This was a government policy and there finally came a time where the people expressed and placed enough pressure on the government for change. Women only got the right to vote in 1902. We only became a single nation in 1901. There were only 5 million people in Australia during WW1 (1918) and 7.4 million in 1945 of which there were about 2.5 million eligible to vote. There were 11.8 million in 1967 or about 5.5 million were eligible to vote. In the interwar years the vast majority could not even get to a town or polling station and there was no real transportation and road networks in Australia. To give you an idea the highway between Brisbane and Sydney there were at least four river crossings by ferry and the bitumen was just a single lane highway. Goondiwindi to Brisbane in the late 1950’s had just five minutes of sealed road.(5 hours by road today) Those who fought in World War I become friendly with aboriginal soldiers they fought for each other, even though it was different from government policy of the time . The same can be said for World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam war it was during the Vietnam war that the vote was finally issued to aboriginal people after this country becoming one after just 66 years. Not too many countries can claim such a short period for all citizens to become franchised to vote. To suggest that we’re racist just because they had yet to be given the vote is someone who sees Australia as it is today. Massive Distances, sparse population, virtually no transport or roads, language barriers( 500 different languages with 600-800 dialects of the indigenous ). It took until 1967 for education of the English language to spread sufficiently for people understand what it meant to have a vote in the direction of Australia by indigenous people. What would been the point of giving people a vote if they couldn’t read, write or speak the language with sufficient numbers. 1967 was the year of definitive proof of our society not being racist but it was a gradual build up to this major milestone. Sure there are people out there that may well be racist, but it’s not wide spread. Aboriginal population of Australia in 1918 was around 93,000 people. According to available data, the Aboriginal population of Australia in 1967 was estimated to be around 101,000 people based on the 1966 Census. That is about 49,000 Aboriginal votes spread out over the entire country and many still did not read ,write or speak English. Hope this clarifies the 1967 date for you.

Judging by her vain attitude and supercilious response she's a glorified mediocrity, a nobody. I think there some certain cultural countries should not be here in a western country because they will not assimilate. What is the point fleeing a country for a better life in another country, if your not going to change your old country ways. When in Rome, you do what the Romans do. If we to live in their country, we would have to respect and obey what they do. So this country supposed to be free western society/country. Those who come here demand we should change for them, is wrong.

I wonder why we don't make this same argument when it came to the English colonising Australia? Well, you probably know how poorly that left the indigenous Australians and just don't want history to repeat, right? I'm glad you agree it was wrong that they demanded/enforced the indigenous to change.
