We were attacked by a mountain lion two years ago. It is terrifying. She saw us before we saw her. She was a nursing mom and it was dusk. She was on the hunt for food, and we must have looked like dinner to her. Always be aware of your surroundings, always be alert, always carry pepper spray when living in forested or mountainous areas.

If you look at the proximity of the attack to the Ukraine, the Ukraine is only miles away and a short distance to travel to escape Russia. We should applaud Russia for their quick action in stopping the terrorists from escaping no matter what you think of Putin. The victims were innocent citizens of Russia and should have never been targeted as part of a vicious terrorist attack. If Russia investigates properly, they should find the source behind the perpetrators and hopefully exonerate the Ukraine.
