You know at this point if you're an American found with ammo in your luggage in Turks and Caicos you need to spend a year in jail there and be fined a few thousand dollars. Why? Because there's been so much publicity about it and they gave so many other Americans a break that by now any Americans going there should really know better. If I were the officials of the Turks and Caicos I would think that Americans were trying to make a chump out of us. And yes, I'm American and when I travel ammunition does not just accidentally find its way into my luggage.

One time I accidentally took a fishing knife in my purse thru TSA in Orlando, FL. The TSA in Manchester, NH caught it when I went back to FL. I was extremely apologetic but then I also realized the TSA in Orlando probably misses some weapons and I felt less confident about their ability to keep us safe.
