The scene with the walrus is so touching and at the same time an absolute work of art. The music, the camera work, the polar bear that is seemingly giving CPR to the bear, and the body of the walrus that is shown on the frontier of water as sir Attenborough is talking about the frontier of climate change. A must watch for everyone

I don't even give a damn about walruses, but watching them plummet from those cliffs where they ordinarily shouldn't even be anywhere near and down to their death was awful. Wild animals dying cruelly is nothing new, I know - baby turtles snatched by crabs and birds, orca pods torturously ramming seals repeatedly - but those walrus falling to either grievous wounds and/or to their death somehow takes it to a different level, especially because of just how... *unnecessary* it is.

I'm glad that I grew up watching and appreciating nature documentaries of the kind that National Geographic and the BBC are so good at. That experience gave me a great appreciation and love for nature. Watching this, even as I appreciate the magnificent technical excellence of it, it shook me to the core, especially that scene with the walruses falling from the cliffs. What are we doing, as a specie? How long will it take us to wake up and do more to protect our planet? It is the only one we've got and none of us will be able to go anywhere else any time soon.

Thank you so much for sharing these documentaries with us. We get to witness some of the most stunning places on earth, but it's heartbreaking to see how human activities can ruin the beauty of nature even in the places that are hard to reach. 😔 We need to take care of our planet because if we continue to harm it, animals and humans will suffer. 🌍 It's important to remember that we people are just a small part of this world, and we don't own it. Plants and animals have the right to live on it too. 🌱🐾 I felt sad for the polar bears and the walrus; they shouldn't have to suffer because of our actions. 😢 Thank you, Netflix, for creating this video and opening our eyes to these issues. 👏If we all work together then we can bring life back to earth.

@mrreyes5004
@mrreyes5004 3 жыл бұрын
I feel like that's the point they were making there. On one hand, we immediately empathize with the pup purely because it's a defenseless baby... however, the bear isn't killing because it likes to, but simply because it needs to eat, too. Very rarely are there any true "heroes" or "villains" in nature, simply creatures doing what they must to survive according to their instincts. Cultures may view life and death as opposites, but there's one thing they inherently have in common: *Neither life **_nor_** death are fair.* Not to the young, the old, the strong or the weak. And in that, the grown bear and the seal pup were equals.

(15) THE GOSPEL OF THE WORD OF ALMIGHTY GOD "is a great last day that He will save man so accept the new and last work by done the Lord Jesus Christ" "The Utterances of Christ's in the Beginning Chapter 15". ... (the Son of Man was witnessed, and God Himself was manifestly manifested. The Glory of God is coming out, shining bright as a hot sun! He is above the Universe, sitting on the Glorious Throne in the third heaven, ruling over all things! The days will end; all things in this world will come to nothing, and all things will be born again. Let you lead again: Don't run for nothing! Wake up!) Almighty God said GOD has APPEARED in ALL the CHURCHES.The SPIRIT SPEAKS; He is the BURNING FIRE, MAJESTIC, and JUDGING. He was the SON of MAN, WHO was CLOTHED to the FEET, and had a BRIDGE of GOLD on His BREAST. His head and His hair were white as white wool, and His eyes were like a flame of fire; His feet are like fine bronze, as refined in an iron furnace; and His voice is like the rushing of many waters. 🙏 And in His right hand were seven stars: and out of His mouth came a sharp two-edged sword: and His face was like the sun shining brightly! The SON of MAN was WITNESSED, and GOD HIMSELF was MANIFESTLY MANIFESTED. The GLORY of GOD is COMING OUT, SHINING BRIGHT as a HOT SUN! His GLORIOUS FACE FLASHES in dazzling LIGHT; WHOSE EYES DARE to TREAT Him with RESISTANCE? The FIGHT LEADS to DEATH! 🙏 Not one bit of mercy is shown in whatever you think in your heart, whatever word you speak, or whatever you do. Will you all understand and see what you have gained---nothing but My judgment? 😪 CAN I KEEP it WHEN YOU DON'T TRY to EAT and SWALLOW My WORDS, and INSTEAD NOTHING--you are DISTURBING and DESTROYING the ESTABLISHMENT? I will not be slow in dealing with this kind of person! If your behavior worsens, you will be consumed by fire! 😪 GOD APPEARED TO BE ALL POWERFUL IN ONE SPIRITUAL BODY, without the slightest flesh or blood joining it from head to foot. He is ABOVE the UNIVERSE, SITTING on a GLORIOUS THRONE in the THIRD HEAVEN, RULING OVER ALL THINGS! The universe and everything is in My hands. WHEN I SAY IT, IT WILL HAPPEN. WHEN I DEDICATE, THAT IS WHAT HAPPENS. 🙏 Satan is under My feet; it's in the abyss! 🍁 WHEN My VOICE GOES OUT, HEAVEN and EARTH WILL PASS AWAY and COME to NOTHING! I CHANGE ALL THINGS; it is an immutable truth that is absolutely right. I have overcome the world, even all evil. I Am SITTING HERE TALKING to YOU, and EVERYONE WHO has an EAR SHOULD LISTEN and ALL THAT LIVES SHOULD RECEIVE IT. 💒 The DAYS WILL END; ALL THINGS in this WORLD WILL COME to NOTHING, and ALL THINGS WILL be BORN AGAIN. REMEMBER this! DON'T FORGET IT! There can be no ambiguity! HEAVEN and EARTH WILL PASS, but My WORDS WILL NOT! LET YOU LEAD AGAIN: Don't run for nothing! WAKE UP! REPENT and SALVATION is NEAR! ☀️ I HAVE APPEARED in the MIDST of YOU, and My VOICE has SOARED BEFORE YOU; IT CHALLENGES YOU DAILY; IN FRONT and FRESH and NEW EVERY DAY. YOU SEE ME and I SEE YOU; I ALWAYS TALK to YOU, and WE WILL FACE to FACE. HOWEVER, YOU REJECT Me and YOU DON'T KNOW Me. 😪 My SHEEP HEAR My VOICE, yet you are still reluctant! You hesitate! Your heart is hardened, Satan has blinded your eyes, and you cannot see My glorious face--you are pitiful! What a pity! 😪 The SEVEN SPIRITS HAVE BEEN SENT in FRONT of My THRONE to ALL CORNERS of the EARTH and, I WILL SEND My MESSENGER to SPEAK to the CHURCHES. ☀️🙏 I AM HONEST and HONEST; I Am the GOD who SEARCHES the DEEPEST PART of the HUMAN HEART. 🙏 The HOLY SPIRIT SPEAKS to the CHURCHES, and My words come out of the will of My Son; everyone who has HEARING will LISTEN! 🙏 All living must receive! JUST EAT and DRINK them, and DO NOT DOUBT. ALL WHO SUBMIT and OBEY My WORDS WILL RECEIVE a GREAT BLESSING. There will certainly be new LIGHT, new LIGHT, and new KNOWLEDGE to ALL who earnestly SEARCH for My face; everything will be FRESH and NEW. My WORDS will appear to you at any TIME, and they WILL OPEN the EYES of your SPIRIT so that you can SEE all the MYSTERIES of the SPIRITUAL realm and SEE that the KINGDOM is in the MIDST of MAN. ☀️🙏 ENTER the SHELTER, and ALL GRACE and BLESSING WILL COME to YOU; FAMINE and PLAGUE WILL NOT MOVE YOU, and WOLVES, SNAKES, TIGERS, and LEOPARDS WILL NOT HURT YOU. YOU WILL JOIN Me, YOU WILL WALK with Me, and WE WILL ENTER into GLORY! 🙏 ALMIGHTY GOD! Let His glorious body appear, the Holy Spiritual body appear and He is fully God Himself! BOTH THE WORLD AND HUMANITY CHANGED, HIS TRANSFORMATION ON THE MOUNTAIN WAS THE PERSON OF GOD. He wears a golden crown on His head, His clothing is white, His chest is girded with a golden girdle and ALL THINGS IN THE WORLD ARE UNDER HIS FEET. His eyes are like a flame of fire, inside His mouth is a sharp double-edged sword and in His right hand are seven stars. The WAY to the KINGDOM is unbounded in brightness and His GLORY appears and shines; the mountains are happy and the waters are laughing, and the sun, moon, and stars are all spinning in their fine alignment, meeting the unique and true God whose TRIUMPHANT RETURN SIGNIFIES THE END OF HIS SIX--THOUSAND--YEAR PLAN OF MANAGEMENT. 🌺 Everyone was jumping and dancing for joy! Rejoice! THE ALMIGHTY GOD SAT ON HIS GLORIOUS THRONE! Sing! THE VICTORIOUS BANNER OF THE MIGHTY is being raised on the majestic and magnificent mount of Zion! All nations rejoice, all people sing, Mount Zion laughs for joy, God's GLORY appears! I never even dreamed of seeing the face of God, but now I saw it. IN FRONT OF HIM DAILY, I OPEN MY HEART TO HIM. He provides food and drink in abundance. Life, words, actions, thoughts, ideas--His glorious light illuminates them all. 🙏 He leads every step of the way, and His judgment comes immediately to any rebellious heart. Eating, dwelling, and living with God, being with Him, walking together, enjoying together, gaining glory and blessings together, sharing in His reign, and living together in the KINGDOM---ah, SO FUN! Ah! SO SWEET! 🙏💐 We face Him every day, talk to Him every day and always talk, and are given new enlightenment and new KNOWLEDGE every day. Our SPIRITUAL eyes are opened and we see everything; reveals to us all the MYSTERIES of the spirit. 🌺 It is truly joyful to live holy; run fast and don't stop, keep moving forward-----there are more WONDERFUL LIVES AHEAD. Don't settle for sweetness alone; that DESIRE TO ENTER GOD. 🙏🤍 He encompasses ALL Abundance, and He has ALL KINDS OF THINGS that we do NOT have. Actively COOPERATE and ENTER into Him, and nothing will ever be the same. Our lives will be great, and no person, matter, or thing will distract us. Greatness! Greatness! Greatness indeed! The great life of God is in the will, and all things are truly at rest! We transcend the world and worldly things, feeling no attachment to spouses or children. We overcome disease control and environments. Stanas dare not disturb us. We completely overcome all calamities. It allows God to reign! We trample Satan, we witness for the Church, and we fully expose the ugly face of Satan. THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE CHURCH IS CHRIST'S, and the GLORIOUS BODY HAS APPEARED---this is how to live in bearing! 🙏 🍁 The recorded prophecies are being fulfilled! ( Revelation 1:13-16. ... 2:1,8,12,18/3:1,14. ... 2:29/3:6,13,22 ) (John 10:27) "My sheep listen to Me; I know them, and they follow Me." From "The WORD Appears in the Flesh". holy book Fulfilled in "In the beginning He was the Word, the Word was with God, and the Word was God" (John 1:1). ... and " When I looked up, someone handed me a book wrapped in a scroll. I opened it and I read on both sides the prayers, lamentations, and curses." (Ezekiel 2:9-10). ... He added, "These are the true WORDS of GOD". "His clothes were stained with blood. He was called the "Word of God" (Rev. 19:9,13). The kingdom He brought down and set up in the highest in the sky so that it can occupy His creation in the universe and engrave on it the entirety of His Holy name "THE CHURCH OF ALMIGHTY GOD" 💐 fulfillment of (Mat. 16:18) "And I say as for you, you are Peter, on top of this rock I will build my Church, that even the power of death will not be able to overcome it.". ... and in "The Letter to the Church in Philadelphia" (Rev. 3:7-13). ... 💫"The New Jerusalem" (Rev. 21:10) "The Spirit covered me, and the angel led me to the top of a very high mountain. He showed Me Jerusalem, the Holy City, coming down from heaven from God." (1 Peter 4:17) "For the time has come in the house of God for the beginning of judgment in the house of God." 📩God's sheep are called and led to His glorious Throne "THE CHURCH OF ALMIGHTY GOD"💐 to submit again to His authority so that He can continue to teach, guide and protect even in plague, famine and wild animals will not be moved by it and completely win this final battle with the big red dragon! "They say aloud, "Salvation comes from the Lamb, and from our God who sits on the Throne!" (Rev. 7:10). ... "They will walk in white with me, for they are worthy. You just shout "lies, propagangda, dont fall for it" yet can never show anything to back up your idiotic and uneducated views. All it comes down to is you cannot accept there are people out there smarter than you. When you man up and get over that fact, you'll be a better, more rounded human being who understands how things work. But you wont because its easier for the morons to shout "propaganda" at every minor thing their pigeon brains cannot comprehend.

I've saw that clip quite a while ago and BBC (EDIT: Netflix NOT the bbc) got hammered for saying it was due to climate change. I can't remember the detail for certain but am pretty sure it went along the lines of: David Attenborough filmed much the same scene about twenty years earlier (they showed both clips) when there was plenty of sea ice, stating another reason why they climbed the cliffs. It's definitely a sad sight but pinning that one on 'climate change' was a pretty unforgivable cheap shot which - as far as I know - neither the BBC nor David Attenborough have retracted despite being asked to do so

@@dreamthedream8929 *Looks for the part in both comments that remotely indicates that he enjoyed cute blubbery animals fall to their deaths* *Fails to find it* I kept looking because we owe it to them to at least see how bad it is. It is frighteningly easy to simply ignore the problems and pretend they don't exist. You forget, my Carbon emission is in there too, as well as yours, and everyone else. My sister is the same way in that she cannot bear to see an animal die, even if its a hunt between animals. Death is part of life and I have long ago made peace with the fact that things die. I have had to put snakes out of their misery because some Jackass ran them over and they can't hunt. I saved birds that would hit windows and lost more. The fact that I stomach death is in no part of enjoyment. I hated seeing it, but it is happening and looking away just makes ignoring it that much easier. I do hope that you have a good day (or evening) and that light still shines for you.

Heidi, Please read my comment posted today May 15, 2021. You sound like a wonderful person who loves our planet. However, please read the book I mention and educate yourself on this topic.
