Premiums out the wazoo, relatively low coverage and deductible way too high. All the choices were the same: horrible insurance. You would get better coverage by insuring yourselves.Hopefully, you can remain solvent until you can switch to Medicare and at that point, do not sign on with Advantage with United Healthcare- it is a ripoff according what I have heard.

As someone who had the privilege and opportunity to be a permanent resident 1st , adopted at the age of 3 from Brasil ... My Dad a Naval Seabee , was stationed at the Embassy for 2 yrs, when my Mom decided to adopt me. I was a permanent resident of the United States, but it was my choice to pursue citizenship. Having grown up in the United States, being able to speak English before I came, I bought into the American dream having such wonderful parents from VA. It took 2 yrs of waiting in lines at 4 am to get a #, not an appt. Repeatedly doing the same thing, ex-fingerprints, multiple times because they changed the procedure, so you go back, and back, and back, and back, and back. They can amend, change anything at anytime. You have fees for everytime they change anything; plus, time, travel, work, family. I looove listening to ppl literally PR, market, package what is being done; and not know a DARN thing about the real ins and outs; or could fathom the internal chaos in the system, and paperwork. Just like I believe if you throw the 100 question test to born Americans on the fly, you'd be surprised at their scores on info "they should know". I aced it, but again, my advantages of being bright eyed 6 yr old coming here being raised on Schoolhouse Rock and the "melting pot" theory. My parents did not pay for me to do it, or hold my hand. It was a choice that was my own in my 20s while other ppl my age were at keg parties, no shame on a great keg party. I was NOT an asylum seeker by any means, and there should be an appropriate process. I can't imagine running from heinous conditions into the arms of a foil blanket, humiliation, and shackled disgust, let alone going thru any of the process under dire duress. I haven't seen any European bound planes. Just alllllllll Mexican gang members huh?? While Mexican firefighters are helping in CA, yeah, okay. The day I finally got sworn in 🇺🇸 along with 435 others, we got letters from President George W. Busch that we were part of a proud nation that serves eachother, not crawls on the Capitol like feral rats and assault, murder ppl with stag horns, weapons, and body paint-just to get a pardon. Glad I raised my children off of what that paper said back then, not on what's being presented now. Free speech tho, good for you, I'm sure there will be more PR to come from many who have no idea.
