I guess it was very sudden, only seconds warning to buckle up according to the reports. Scary! I was in some severe turbulence during a T-storm over Utah with large hail battering the plane. It was terrifying!

Does anyone else find it just a little weird that 5 different American tourists all going to the same place made it through American TSA with ammo? That's one of the things that every bag gets xrayed for. No matter how well you try to paxk ammo, it will light up very very well on an xray. They never shouldve made it past the initial bag check.

Thank goodness the plane had an excellent pilot flying the aircraft bc, it could of been a lot worse. Also when a passenger boards an aircraft they understand the danger in flying even though hitting turbulence is a rare event it can and obviously does happen. I'm glad the passengers will be okay. Fays a little to curious. lol But, what a little sweet heart.

You’re a US citizen in Turks & Caicos and you hear the story of the first US citizen arrested for having ammunition in their luggage. Can you explain how you don’t check your luggage for ammo before you leave? Now there’s an additional 4 US citizens facing a possible 12 yr prison sentence because for whatever reason, they neglected to check their luggage. How it got through TSA is another sad story, so unless you’re a basketball star or someone famous, prepare yourself for 12 yrs in prison. Nobody’s fault but your own! If the US government can get you out, I’m happy for you!
