Some of the floats are dependent on larger vehicles that can only travel at set speeds. Unfortunately that means sometimes some groups are faster than others.

SCG,for all those things you mention,smoking,over eating ect that we have to pay for-the difference is there is a lot of effort to get people educated about the dangers of those things in an effort to get them to stop or slow down. When Hiv was first discovered there was a strong campaign to get folks to play safe,use protection,get tested ect and now that has gone away.The result is the vast majority of young men think nothing of playing unsafe,they look at getting Hiv as a nuisance as the costly killer disease that it is.Yes,it's not the killer it was,but it still deserves to be given more respect than is given by the younger crowd.Yes,other folks get hiv but let's be honest it is small comparison number wise to gay men.People get addicted to cigarettes ,but having unprotected sex is not-it's a choice.
