"Brady List" officers were involved in an arrest that is now under investigation for possible excessive force. Phoenix police are under a sweeping Department of Justice pattern or practice investigation that’s focused on five areas, including excessive force and retaliation against protesters. The federal probe has been open for 22 months, and during that time, the DOJ has finalized similar investigations into two other police departments: Louisville (March 8, 2023) and Minneapolis (June 16, 2023).

Brady list is a list compiled usually by a prosecutor's office or a police department containing the names and details of law enforcement officers who have had sustained incidents of untruthfulness, criminal convictions, candor issues, or some other type of issue placing their credibility into question.

The prosecutor needs to be dis-barred and brought up charges and then sued civilly. She KNEW that the officer was on the Brady list and could not testify in court, yet she strung this man on for 10 months. The fact that she thought she could withhold the fact the he was on the Brady list and the reason why further nails her coffin shut. Anyone who thinks that she just found out the morning of the trial that Alvarado was caught trying to cheat the taxpayers of Phoenix needs a lobotomy. The sole reason for overcharging this man and then dropping the charges was to extend the time they had before he slammed them with a federal civil rights lawsuit.

@@AccountInactive It's more than age. I would say, white person detected. The fact that minorities have been treated like this for 150 years, being called criminals, and people trying to make the argument that blacks commit more crimes shows white people are inherently racist. How many blacks have the police trumped up charges on? Planted drugs and guns on. After all their original job was slave catching. What excuses did whites make? They wouldn't have arrested them if they were guilty of something . Their judges and juries let Klans men off, they let Rodney King's attackers off. THEY set the precedent that these terrorist Nazi pigs are always innocent or let them off no matter what they did! And when they do get caught, the racist SCOTUS robbed minorities of justice by enacting qualified immunity. Now the dog they never trained is biting them, but before it was Ok when it was minorities. I'm glad white folks are learning from experience that all blacks weren't all guilty and just lying about being innocent. They should have muzzled their dog because now they're being attacked. Crying about Qualified immunity! An argument that wasn't being made until it happened to them. Back the blue until it happens to you.

@@learnhope7895 I think that's the mandibular nerve complex....very painful....cops put pressure there to make you squirm and react so they can scream at you to stop resisting and do worse. And actually, it is used to force compliance, because anything that makes you scream, "OK, OK, OK, OK, OK, I'm sorry," is usually followed immediately with the victim complying with whatever makes the pain stop. Street cops are bad, but they can sometimes show some restraint since their victim might be a judge's child or whatever, and citizens can film, etc...But you should see what prison guards get away with daily, with no cameras, with victims that garner little sympathy with the public, unless they are black or hispanic......It's a grimy game.....
