'A random, vicious animal': Reaction to arrest in Rachel Morin murder

For 10 months since Rachel Morin’s murder along the MA & PA Trail, some people, like Sandy Lupold, were hesitant to return to the area. “In the beginning, I was very nervous about it. Yes, because we didn’t know if it was a stalker or if it was somebody around here,” said Lupold, “It turns out that it was a random, vicious animal. A horrendous act.” The Harford County Sheriff’s Office is still posting deputies along the trail and signs have gone up since the arrest.

they had a not very good photo of his back from CA but that was about it - great police work I still don't understand how they tracked him down.. I know they went to El Salvador to get relatives DNA but I'm not sure how they were able to pin point him - would make an interesting documentary. I think they probably tracked him to Tulsa via his benefits check. Someone must have reported him seeing the CA video that's the ONLY way I can think of that police would have been able to get a suspect.

how can you compare animals to a POS like this? Is this guy a local? Is he an illegal? Has he had any other criminal activity? Does he have a job? Is he on any assistance? Get to it do some reporting.

Yes I’m in small town in Oregon and is full of people just newcomers with politic asilum and crime and slums are everywhere because they can get housing food and other things don’t work soo lots of free time to think and do this kind of act I’m soo sorry this is happening I’m from México 40 years in this country this needs to stop
