Probably quiet a bit. The numbers are all over the place but from what I've seen only about 20%-40% of crimes are even reported to police. Then the clearance rate of the crimes reported are 20% to 60%. I would also add that in recent years whole states and large cities in the US have stopped reporting crime stats to the FBI. States with high illegal immigrant populations like California, NY, and Illinois *do not* report the immigration status of inmates nor do they turn them over to immigration authorities after they have completed their sentence. Basically it's a 💩show.
