There was a stand off in my neighborhood as a kid. Police went to serve a warrant on a dude and he walked in his front door, was an armed and dangerous. They called back up and there ended up being a 6 or 7 hour standoff. He never answered his phone or the police negotiators. SAWT goes in. Turns out he walked out the back door when he saw one cop stay in front and the other walk back to the cruiser.

I worked as a news anchor in the television ,and I never drove on the 91 Freeway , but recently I started driving on this freeway for business proposes etc, without giving you all the details of all the fatal cases that I have seen on this Freeway, two weeks ago I just witnessed how the police was covering the body of a man who die on this freeway and now I witnessed this additional case too. But , while I was for hours inside my car siting near the scene ,for the first time I started reading some posts or comments from some people ,who express that the way the police responded is a waste of taxes, etc. We all have different mentalities or experiences ,and I can understand that there are people who do not understand or have knowledge of criminal or dangerous cases, but I am glad that there were many TV channels covering the news or police cars present to protect the people who we were on the Freeway or near the scene too . The press not only helps to inform the community of what is happening ,but at the same time that the press covers these cases they are protecting the people who is present in these scenes ,the criminals or suspects , the police from committing fraud or being accused of committing fraud. Sometimes press helps a lot . When I was in Anaheim Hills and I found out that the police cars that were present, some said Corona police ,I thought :this is going to end in a fatal tragedy ,because ironically and recently , I was in Corona and I don't know that city very well, but while I was trying to solved a horrible case that I witnessed and I had no education that in Corona , you can find very dangerous people, or criminals, and not only in this city, logically, as we know, there are criminals or dangerous people all over the world. When I tried to speak nicely to a person to let them know that they are breaking the law , briefly this individual started yelling at me horrible, the dangerous person terrified me ,the level of hysteria or aggression of this individual and how started to fight me was very impressive , without giving many details, that person has no idea that I was a news anchor , we had TV cameras to publish the case or attack , because if you do not have videos ,witnesses or press, criminals sometimes change the truth and the case is more difficult. Also, that person had no idea in my family there are lawyers ,sometimes you don't know who is around you.After I experienced this case and others that have happened to me in those areas and they are horrible cases to share, I educated myself that sadly in those areas there are very dangerous people or criminals. For me, seeing the SWAT from Corona did not capture my attention at all , because after I experienced some cases in those areas without exaggeration some individuals are SWAT level and for 50 police cars not 1 or 10 cars. For those who complained about these persecutions or because there are people who commit these cases on the roads etc, Psychologists can explain that unfortunately these individuals are mentally ill, sometimes there are people around them who can report them in time and help them. But there are cases like this where there was no opportunity to save the life of this man who made the wrong decision to end his life. God forgive him.
