What should keep you up at night is that you didn’t know where your deadly ammunition is. As a gun owner you need to keep it LOCKED UP. Wake up and smell the accountability and not your entitlement.

"deadly ammunition"? If there isn't a gun with it, how is it deadly?

Grow up self-righteous lady. Like you never made a mistake- like assaulting your face daily with all that make-up? You are not perfect. We could rewind your life a few years and find many mistakes. Their law is ridiculous. It was a simple mistake.

I don’t put my ammo in a suitcase used for travel. I use a designated case for my guns and ammunition, that way I won’t screw up and forget.

I'm sure it was an accident that he even had the ammo. But you cannot believe that that country treated him unfairly. Their laws are different than ours as in other countries. This is a failure of both him and the TSA The TSA should have discovered that ammo before he even boarded the plane.

@@Sharkwmu: It isn't the job of the TSA to inform a passenger that he's in violation of a country's import laws.
