I have a 3 year old. The way he kisses his mom’s nose and her cheeks, he doesn’t do that to anyone. He comes to me when he wants to get out of the house and go playing. I love my mother and I see him doing the same. I cannot begin to imagine this poor lady’s grief.

My heart aches for these parents. I don't understand the the anger that young people have today. life is so precious and actions before reasonable conversation and peace is just thrown out the window. I don't know if saying no, or sharing space with strangers or with people who aren't socially conscious or of different beliefs are necessarily a good thing anymore. Why can't we live in unity and love in this world? No one deserves to die in college in his own room. what's wrong with people today. Evilness and lack of respect for each other is rampant in 2022.

Recently I watched a different story in Chine where one dorm roommate poisoned another roommate out of jealousy, both were Chinese. Same culture. So it is not about different beliefs.

There is immense hate and aggression towards Indians, the last time I had to confront a racist they used a variety of expletives, mocked my accent and the colour of my skin. Thou racism has never bothered me but the lack of a reason for all the hate displayed by most Americans, Europeans and south east Asians has always made me sad.

this why they need to change this setup of having roommates because everyone are strangers. need to have rooms individually
@fredwerza34786 ай бұрын
I really do think all colleges will have single rooms by 2040 --- the experiment of putting strangers into doubles has run it's course --- kids today just want to have their privacy and peace while they study and sleep
@fredwerza3478 Жыл бұрын
I honestly believe every dorm room in America by 2050 will be singles. I went to college in the 80's and that was when people still talked to each other instead of looking at screens all day. We've seemed to lose the ability to communicate with each other, face to face as humans. The murderer in this case was just another of the younger generation who is totally disconnected from reality and only interfaced with a screen since birth. He has no concept of life and death, consequences of his actions, and the lasting pain he incurred with his horrible decision. How are we going to repair this broken culture we have created with this digital infrastructure that has taken over our world? Think carefully about that.
@learnitnow62656 ай бұрын
Excellent point. 100% correct. People have become more lacking in sensibilities, compassion and empathy. The guy was stoned faced as they led him out. He knows what he did, but he's without emotion and remorse. There's clearly issues that if not dealt with he could harm someone else again.

@@learnitnow6265 It's heartbreaking to hear about this tragedy. My thoughts are with the deceased and their loved ones during this difficult time. While I don't have all the details, it's important to remember that every situation is unique and complex. @@Kierispet159 Its called instinct based on body language. Even wild animals have the sense to tell difference between prey and predator. In this case its his eyes as he turns the corner. He is scanning the environment with his head held high instead of looking down in shame and regret. One needs to process all available information including the cover to judge. The best of us can make the correct judgements from the smallest cues. Somebody from South Korea would be a better judge of body language of South Koreans.
