I’m in SoCal and it’s just starting to hit. We had a brief downpour that was so loud you could hear it all throughout the house. It didn’t last long but wow it was unreal.

??? Whaa???? Rare ??? Not LMAO Truckee always gets Snow LOL Rare Snow in Truckee LMAO It sits at 5,817 ft Its Average Snowfall is 17 Feet LOL Rare ??? Snow is Rare on the valley Floor But in Most Places in the Coastal Range and Sierra Nevada It Snows' every Winter . Yes because of Drought for a few year now that has Dropped. Only 25% of CA is Desert. It wasn't Unusual When I Was Kid growing up In Chico CA the Snow level would go Sometimes below 500 Feet. Most of the time it was around a 1000 Foot or Higher. Snow in San Mateo is rare because it only sits at 46 feet from sea level .

Nice video. I'm an old SF native and remember the early 60s when it snowed in the Sunset and us kids were out trying to make snowmen. But now I live north of Seattle, and light snow is normal for this time of year. Still, I dont like to drive in it.
