UPDATE: OZTrail reached out to me and have investigated the issue and found it is a manufacturing fault. They have ceased production while they fix the issue and will send me a new tent later in the year. They offered a full refund. Very good service.

Awesome thank you for sharing. We all appreciate knowing which companies will respond to issues. I saw in another video that the company would not comply and stated "because the tent was now used, no refund would be offered". WHAT??? For sure a company I will not be dealing with. Again, It's so helpful when experienced people leave reviews/issues with these companies.

HI Tony and Brucy, I am in Dallas Texas, I just found out i lost my best male friend today and the reason i watch your camping videos is because your mannerisms remind me of his. I hope he checked you out when he was alive to enjoy your camping adventures...I am heartbroken and grieving now and watching the videos comfort me some...Also i am glad you are over covid. I got it last year and am suffering from long haulers syndrome where this evil virus fucks with you longer and does not want to let you just live back to normal....God bless you and your family and please continue to do your videos...

Nature is the great healer. We can ALL connect in that vast and subtle realm which is all around us. It is an all Inclusive Oneness. I am a firm believer that we will all meet again... and again .. and the Joy of re-connecting will be unfathomable. A friend once told me that they felt so sad when their dad passed away... that it was really painful. I said Yes but... what if you didn't even care? What if you never even missed him? Which would be worse? I had the great privilege of having a Near Death Experience... and have seen first hand that our loved ones are right across the veil... just waiting to greet us... WHEN the time is right, when our work here is done. The power of Love makes this possible.. it draws us to each other... it is unfailing. I firmly believe that you were lead here to this video to help you with your current grief. I get now that there are no coincidences... everything happens for a reason. When we remain open to the possibilities.. and even what might appear as impossible... we are shown more and more. Nothing here is as it appears... and YOU are far greater than you currently suspect. Be still in Nature and begin to 'see' how connected we all are... and have always been. Many blessings being sent your way.

I’m a new subscriber to your channel and I live in East Texas in the US and I’ve enjoyed camping all my life starting as a child where my dad would take our big family on long road and camping trips into his home state of Arkansas as well as various great lake and river campsites closer to my home. There’s honestly nothing better than camping, cookouts, fishing, swimming, etc. and I can’t forget waking up to the great smell of my mom cooking bacon, sausage, and egg breakfast on our old Coleman cook stove. It’s amazing how getting camp set up and enjoying the peace and quiet as well as having good conversations with those we enjoy being with. My dad and other family has passed away for many years now but I’m sure they’d want me to continue doing what we all loved as a family that loves nature. Keep up the great videos and informing us of new quality and not so quality camping products as they become available!

It's very cold now in the deep south of the U.S., but I have some spring plans. Next time when it is warmer and rain is predicted, I am going out on my deck, put the large deck umbrella up, plop own in a chair with my laptop, and watch Bruce and Tony while listening to the rain! Sounds like a wonderful relaxing way to unwind for a few hours! You give much to the world, Tony.

I've had the Weber for 10 or so years. Works great. The tent looks like a winning concept and would be nice right on a campsite road. I would roll out a piece of outdoor carpeting and use the tarp for wind, rain, and sun shade. Brucie looked like he liked it too.......lol

I am new and so impressed. U are my kind of camper....demanding of perfection. That is my favorite part of camping, all the cool gadgets placed just so. Looking around the site and seeing neat and proper arrangements with nothing looking sloppy. I quickly turn off any video when I see sloppy piles all around the site. My biggest pet peeve...cardboard boxes and bins of firewood stacked around the fire ring. Ruins everything!

I LOVE YOUR RAINY CAMPING ADVENTURES I live next to a massive meadows with a lovely river flowing through it . I've done a few full day's but we leave at dark because my teenage son has autism so he won't stay the whole night yet... but we always go when a storm is brewing with our gas cooker and lots off food to cook... we only have a very larg family tent that takes up a large suitcase and it's a nitghmare to put it up on my own but it was 2nd hand and a bargain as I'm a single parent I snapped it up...I'm hoping one day we can afford a tent that's more suitable and easy to put up and one that fits in our camping backpack.. dragging our bags and tent in suitcase by foot is unbearable but its lovely once set up and we can chill and eat in the rain ) 😀

As soon as I seen that there wasn't any ventilation I knew it was going to hold in condensation and heat. Other than that it cold be a nice comfortable tent with proper ventilation better water proofing. Some companies don't care about product failures, they know most people will not go through time and the expense of returning especially after they got rid of the orginal packing box it came in. Thanks for reviewing cheaper camping gear for all the folks that can not afford the higher price equipment.

Back in 2000 I walked from Sydney to Bundaberg. My sleeping kit was an Emphatex ground bivvy. It was basically designed to allow soldiers to sleep where they stood. So one evening in Noosa on my walk the heavens opened up. I was laid in a public park grass field. I zipped up and endured. The grass semi flooded underneath me but I remained dry. To this day the best bit of kit I ever owned. Not film friendly unfortunately.

I've really enjoyed this camp as always Tony! Shame about the leaks because it's a good tent otherwise! As for ppl continuing to moan about Bruces food, you have it spot on. There are too many fat dogs because they're overfed because there owners think they must treat them like a human! In fact they are the cruel ones because there dogs suffer just like an overweight human! I know, ive been there and i am now ten stone lighter and doing everything that i couldnt, when i was young and all because my mum thought it was unhealthy for me to be skinny so, she started giving me highly fatty foods! I am now reaping the benefits of loosing and maintaining that weight! Arthritis is also a big factor for being overweight, especially in dogs. Not to mention heart disease, cancer and dropped spine!

I have an OZtrail Fast Frame BlockOut 6 Person Tent and it has the same toggle problem yours does where the water seeps from the outside latch material and right between the seam sealed stitching. I have weathered about 8 storms and some quite gusty days of 35kmph winds and the tent is a champion. Another downside to the leaky toggels are the zippers as you found out as well. Once I was actually locked inside my tent from one side as both zips were stuck at the very bottom, thankfully there's a back door. You are also correct about the seemingly flimsy window mesh, after two uses of mine I already had a hole in a window that must have happened while it was being packed away and put into the bag. Oztrail make some great products though and they would be even better if they resolved some obvious issues. To answer your question about your camps setup, I think it's the best looking and most versatile camp you have ever made. The look of your Oztrail tent with the solar fires was great, as was the tarp. As much as I like the Wowona, man the orange is ugly. I'm wondering whats going on in front of the camera at 02:15:02 ? It looks like it's raining inside your tent or 1000 sand flies have joined you to snuggle.

You'd think they would test their own products but then where would you be? LOL Really appreciate that you were working for the consumer. Loved when you sat down there with your coffee at the river's edge. I sighed with you as you fell into the chair. That's what I'm talkin about. Oh and that breakfast was awesome! Hi Tony, thanks for the great video as always. NZ is a wonderful place judging from the footage. 2 to 3 ft of snow Friday night to Sunday. 50 mph winds and it's 6 degrees Fahrenheit here in Rhode island, USA. Be well.

Hi Tony and Bruce - I watch all of your video ... the driving to - the setting up - cooking - cigar time - bed time - wakening up kisses from Bruno - breakfast - putting everything away - and sometimes using the drone to see the surrounding sights - beautiful ... thank you ... see you next time 😎 ... oh yah I got the shirt and Bruce zipper pouch and stickers ... I'm going to have to get something else from your merch section and of course send you coffee and treats ... 🤗

Thank you for the planning, time, and ingenuity that you put into these videos camping. Gives me the inspiration to return to camping and white water canoeing that had been put aside when work, marriage, and family took over my life, and forgot to go out and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Hello Tony and Brucey! I very much enjoyed watching this video and all your others as well. They're very entertaining and fun to watch. The drone footage was beautiful and so peaceful you picked a great spot. I love that Webber now I want one. Your chicken and salad looked so delicious, and I know it was too. Breakfast for a king. Yum... I love your unplanned jokes. And when you fast forward yourself it gives me a good laugh. Laughter good like a medicine. Your setup was nice, and I loved the two garden lanterns with the flames. You got it going on as usual. The tent bottom reminded me of a trampoline. Glad you had a good sleep and didn't get wet from the rain. As usual you know how to ruff it in style. LOL... Congratulation on 80K subs. I bet you'll get over 100K before the end of this year. Okay until our next campout adventure. Peace from California USA.

You look a bit spooked there, and Bruce has definitely picked up on something, maybe that wildman that I have heard stories of in NZ in the South Island, in the hills. When car camping, with/without the camper, we take out the Dutch oven, we love stews, as well as roasts in them. Have also a small 30cm round charcoal BBQ, that has a round raised lid, and use it, but mostly in winter.

Hi Tony and Brucie. Loved the long video. It was so relaxing to watch even tho I have to pause here and there bc my dog loves attention and keeps me busy. Congratulations on the 80K subscribers. It’s not a surprise to me bc a lot of us enjoy your videos and we love Brucie… the sweetest boy in the world. Many blessings to you Tony and your beautiful Anne and sweet Brucie. I always look forward to another video, but take care of you and yours first! 😎🐶🏕⛺️☀️

It looks like you could (if needed or wanted to) fit another three or even four tents, with a slight covering and still ha enough room to walk around. This would be great for groups of friend camping.

Hi, AB Camping: Being a living historian and avid camper myself, I normally use a 10.38 oz marine canvas, sunforger reproduction6'x 6" noncommissioned officers flat back wedge tent with cast iron steaks. I have used this tent both for living history events and camping adventures, this is one of the best tents that I've ever used, and the cast iron steaks are solid and with stand even strong winds. Best of luck, on your camping adventures
