William Clogston its debatable to say that english is the official language of the us, its not completely all the way true. Whether it is true or not though, that comment he made was unnecessary and potentially hurtful. However asking the question was also unnecessary, although it was just a playful filler question asked by the interviewer (which im sure they planned to cut out in the final edit). His response was so ridiculous that they decided to keep it in.
