Also, don't tell me these people weren't EXACTLY like drug addicts lol.... The kid had dreams about playing video games... You know what they call those in NA? "Drug dreams"... Some addicts have dreams where they're trying to score drugs, actually getting drugs, whatever, for YEARS after they stop using. He was having the exact same mental responses as a drug addict or alcoholic. Same with the other guy. And I'm sorry, I just don't believe that anyone ever had THAT bad of a response with TV.

@quchi72323 жыл бұрын
True but it's also possible being addicted. I used to be a gamer too playing 17 hours per day during my day off and 6 hours on working days until I quit my job just so I can game all day, wasn't worth it. It's hard to accept the fact that gaming addiction can cause a lot of problems too physically and mentally. Curing gaming addiction takes a lot of time really, and it's not easy.

I honestly don't understand why this is a concern. Sure people can get addicted to it, but people can get addicted to anything lol. You sure don't see 'over reading' or 'child plays too much sport' on the news. It's not the thing you're doing, it's how much you personally choose to attach yourself to it. If you want to shut out the rest of your life for your hobby, do it. Not the rest of the world's problem really :/
@anlop33496 жыл бұрын
The Gaming Chicken It is looked as a problem because its bad for a persons health as they become addicted to it, not being active and causing problems in brain activity said in the vid. But when a person is addicted to sports it will be seen as okay because it is healthy for the body as they are active.
@jadejewell77166 жыл бұрын
Do you know what logic is? Logic is a tool used to determine whether or not an argument can demonstrate the claim it attempts to make. It's really simple. An illogical argument can not demonstrate its claim. A logical argument always demonstrates it's claim. Your argument is fallacious. In order words, it relies on logical fallacies, thus being illogical. For example, your claim that you can be addicted to anything is incorrect. Your claim that too much reading or playing too many sports has never been a concern is also incorrect. Lastly, it sometimes IS what you are doing. And "choosing" to attach or not attach yourself to an addiction is nonsensical. That's the meaning and definition of an addiction. If you had the ability to simply "choose" to avoid addiction, addiction wouldn't be a problem. There are a few more problems with you argument. Like saying it's no one else's problem. Sorry, but we don't live in a vacuum. This is the real world. Which means the things you do (or don't do) will affect other people.

are you serious? Im guessing alot of the comments are from teens or something. too much video games is an issue. this kid was obviously not socializing and probably didn't have any friends. when he couldn't play them he got violent. seriously? he was dependent on it. I think alot of people are forgetting we are living in a time where parents don't let their kids out often, high tech gadgets and social media is making society more antisocial, thus making it harder for people to communicate in person. you're missing the bigger picture.

I didn't see/hear anywhere in the video that he was skipping school my guess is that he is homeschooled so he doesn't skip school and my guess assuming again is that he doesn't have a job and he didn't buy the computer so I don't think any of this is a big problem if they want to look into and interview someone why not the parents who bought him the computer or allowed him to get it
