He reminds me of when I first went to college in 1992, I would ride my 18 speed bicycle to work, college and even grocery shopping which came to about 50 miles/ day for 2 years. Then I got marry and was gifted a 1983 gold thing of a car; of which my wife drove to college and I had give up college to work 70+ hours a week. Though later in life I did go to college twice more.

The part about Mr. Ronny, bought me to tears. I know exactly how it is like not having your own personal transportation and to rely on public transportation. One day, I was scheduled to come to work when the weather was pouring down raining, but I was determined in mind and heart that I wasn't going to let nothing stop me from going to work. I too, also have responsibilities. I really hope and pray that he will be blessed with his own vehicle someday. God Bless him and his family.

This story was based in Northern California and this is the sad reality. The cost of rent in Burlingame and all around the Bay Area is insanely high. But people are willing to pay to live in the safe neighborhoods because now even the dangerous neighborhoods have gotten pricey because of the demand . The guy commuting by bike, train and bus everyday just needs to find a job near home, for the train and bus he is probably spending $20 a day to get to work and barely getting sleep it's not worth it .

This is not about the rich vs poor. This is completely about government regulations that make building homes expensive. Is not just the permitting process. This starts with cutting trees and manufacturing the pipes and all the parts needed to build a home. It is also about preparing land to build and all the tests and permits needed before a house can ever be built. Another reason that home prices are so high is the fact that many people buy cheap homes for rentals.

Life is artificially expensive. I have smart phone and computer internet expense over 100 dollars a month .In reality most of my usage is entertainment now. I am thinking about going back to flip cellphone and reading books. Since having access to this technology in my house does not help me make any money. My wages cannot really afford this. I live in that area that's one thing you don't understand. There are multimillion-dollar homes close to his job. I guarantee you he can't afford to live in that neighborhood. Where he lives the employers don't offer the type of benefits he gets at Stanford. He has a family I'm sure that's why he's holding on to that job with good benefits.

Globalism will drive us all into small units in cities because we won’t be able to afford the housing costs and gas prices to drive. It’s a Globalist plan to control and it’s been in place for years. Don’t get comfortable with this Globalist agenda. It will get worse.

God damn Ronny. Someone set up gofundme. Ronnie could be working two jobs if he didn’t have to do a 8 hr daily commute.

Damn man, most of Ronnie's life is just traveling to work. Sucks to see that and know there's people with more money then they can count. The feels bruh.

I live outside of Seattle and have to travel 2+ hours each way everyday. It's pretty much the norm here.

I’ve never had a job that offered good benefits. I’ve been in healthcare and currently work in healthcare. No insurance offered from my job.
