In Florida we put up with this all the time from boaters, cars and motor coaches. These people - not all "juveniles" - pitch their trash on our roadways and don't give a 💩 about what they leave behind. It takes OUR tax dollars to clean that slop up. There are signs up and down I-95 and the Turnpike with 1-800 numbers to call to report these people. Believe me, WE DO.

Neither Irma nor the Stones wrote the melody or lyrics, they just recorded versions. Music and lyrics were written by two men who weren't affiliated with Irma or the Stones at all. In fact, the song was first recorded by Jazz instrumentalist Kai Winding in 1963, prior to full lyrics being written and Irma recording the song. So the news report wasn't 100% complete or accurate.

Most toy guns look identical to real ones, except for the orange tip that is suppose to be on the toy but is so easily removable. If I were the parent of any child killed because of a toy gun, I would sue the toy manufacturer...those toys should not look exactly like the real thing, make then entirely bright orange or green so they are easily identified as toys!

It's Wisconsin. I used to live there. Big hunting culture. Parents often buy firearms for their children, especially teenaged sons. It's seen as a right of passage to kill your first deer. It's common to see deer carcasses strapped to the hoods of cars there.
