The ones that are being flown away to other shelters (many are coming here to Northern California) were pets already in the Pasadena Shelter for adoption and had no owners. This is making room at the Pasadena Shelter to keep lost and injured pets from the fire, so that their owners can find them.

Too many disasters, this is beyond horrible. My heart is bleeding every night, as I see the bomb like devastation there. I’m so sorry this happened to anybody, but it’s even worse when it happens to so many. And once again, THANK YOU to the firefighters, the prisoners, the firefighting teams from Mexico and Canada, and ALL HELPING across the nation. What I’m afraid of is, I don’t live near California. I live in Midwest and what I’m afraid of is my insurance rates will go through the ceiling to try to pay for that fire. That’s not right that’s on California not Indiana and it’s not on me. It’s on you and that’s why I feel like it’s going to be criminal for the insurance company to jack up my rates because they gotta cover their expenses out in California.

The cause of the LA fires is unknown but there have been many theories including arson. How easy it would be for determined terrorists or professsional agents of hostile governments, like China, to initiate a fire using the most basic equipment like a blow torch or box of match sticks!! An act of sabotage that will cost billions and billion of dollars in damages. Doesn't this show how vulnerable parts of the US infrastucture are?
