It's actually more of a tragedy than a cause for celebration.Soccer is so big from the point of view of participation and yet the US doesn't produce the players it should. This last decade has been fallow. There were a lot of goalies in the late nineties and the noughties along with outfield players in the German and English leagues. From there, there has been a downturn with Pulisic notable for bucking the trend.

I am not going to lie, I have been raised in America and still live there, I call it football because whenever I call it soccer I get bombarded by people from other nations saying i'm stupid and it's called football, I think there's a stereotype that most of us get which isn't fair.
