Well it’a a topic that’s hotly contested even among activists. One side would say that is a good thing because it brings representation and awareness to the struggle, the other side thinks it is trivializing the struggle by monetizing it.

Omg so awsome!!! Why isn't this front page news to get the word out to all " disabled people "! Also, brief story, my mom , when I was 14 , 48 now, had her led amputated due to diabetes. I remember the very next day in her room the nurse rotation was happening and the new nurse asked my mom the standard questions, but when my mom was asked how tall she was , without skipping a beat she says, " 5'4" on the right and 4'11" on the left " . The nurse got so offended by her response. Anyhow, i digress. very cool !
