I am Brazilian, I have hemodialysis for 2 years. Thank you to the University of Alabama Science and to this wonderful family. I hope that soon this transplant will be something common. Thank you very much, United States of America!

God bless you, Renato. I tried to be a living kidney donor to someone I know but my kidney function isn’t high enough for the doctors to allow me to. I will always pray for you. 💛🕯

We are now in July and the that news article article is dated January. How more ahead is the pig to human kidney transplant research going since then ? Gene editing(crispr and mrna) came a long way in six months ? Any trials that past the 77 hours? If this is dead(pun intented), wouldn't it be nice as to know why?

So you raise the pig to kill it. Sounds normal. How long before they revise the Russian studies of swapping heads of animals. It looks like we are getting close to making the Egyptian characters. Maybe we can grow whole human bodies soon. Those frozen people might have been right for having been frozen.

Can we STOP using animals for human benefits?!? Like for gods sake instead of moving forward and moving towards eliminating animal testing, animal cruelty, etc. humans decide to regress even more. Not okay!

I mean, it’s not like we’re killing them to eat them in this case. We’re killing them because we can save lives. I don’t see a problem with that
@josiecamilo70982 жыл бұрын
Exactly 💯 I see this as going backwards not forward. Even though animals are killed for food we should have a respect for all life. If we have all this technology now we shouldn't need to do this. It's also blasphemy against God I feel even if others see this as perfectly fine. Anyone who has a pet would also feel some way about this. They are pure like children and give unselfish love. So sad because that animal isn't going to be eaten it's going to be kept alive pumped with medicine so it can have it's organs harvested for another animal that could get an organ from its own kind.

@@josiecamilo7098 Then why are you saying he will solve anything. You can't have it both ways. If every problem is because of humans and therefore he won't solve any problem that implies he won't solve any problems. So stop saying he will make all your problems go away.
