I hate that a few men who have ruined the culture of Hip Hop and Rap for many who have grew up listening to the music while growing and going through their own struggles. This music helped us get through our struggles in homes, streets, schools, meeting friends, fighting enemies, all while listening to the voices of people our age on the radio. Those voices who were rapping and singing the same things we were seeing and experiencing what we lived day to day, became more than musicians. They became the voices of youth who needed to be heard. Seeing the news that there were men that I thought were good men, accused of the ugliness of hurting others and using the culture and music to draw their victims in, it is sickening. Grateful for 50 to step up, as well as Katt Williams, Eminem, Dre, Snoop, and many other greats of the genre. Wendy Williams had to go through unnecessary stress, for what? For telling the truth about an individual who was hurting others, including himself? He had the money to get the mental health care he needed. There’s no excuses for his ugliness. Hopefully the victims can eventually comeback as survivors and comeback to the world of the hip hop and rap, or music in general and become great artists and a better human being than their offender. Prayers for those who have had to cross paths with the ugly of this person. Prayers for 50 Cent , and Wendy, and Cassie, for speaking so many others won’t be victimized. ❤️
