@@joetraveler5609 Spoken like an addict. Work hard and win at life instead. Or you can waste your money on a "CHANCE" and "HOPES" to win like the rest of the suckers. All the lottery is, is a gov't ploy to make you pay more taxes. You buy lottos after you've paid tax on the income you've earn only to have to pay tax on any winnings that you bought after you've paid taxes on it. But then, who ever wins, the gov't take a big chunk out of the winner's pay check (tax), so either way the Government take a majority of the money in this game bc at every step you pay taxes. You see what I'm saying? If you made 50k/yr for 20 yrs, you will be a millionaire -bc 50k x 20 yrs = 1,000,000. Now imagine if you spent more of your time, efforts, and money to reinvest in yourself or a business idea to make more than 50K/yr. Maybe instead of buying lottos you work towards making 100k/yr, then it will take you 10 yrs. You see what I'm saying? You can send all your money to the gov't for a "CHANCE" to win or you can spend it back into yourself which is a guaranteed win and then you put most of your money in "investments" so the gov't can't tax you like real rich ppl do. Typical reporter who is just a repeater, there are no lottery billionaires, taking the lump sum payout amount, after both state and federal taxes, the winner will get around $300MM, and if the winner takes the annuity, both state and federal taxes with be deducted each year and then inflation over the 30 year payout period will greatly devalue the actual buying power! Not even remotely close to becoming a billionaire with either option.

Correct. The lottery is a bait and switch legal fraud. If you take all the money in a lump sum, you get taxed 2 to 3 times depending on where you live. That means you get about 35% of the original prize money. The money listed is not even true, but is based on an annuity paid over 26 years. It's a sucker game anyway you look at it.

True, I am aware of the risks But as I see it, let's go for it Espicaly if you win over 100 million dollars, you would need to do something really really special to blow that kind of money

If you look at many millionaires and billionaires.... MOST seem to be weirdos. The trick is to stay as simple as possible. Set yourself up with a decent income and enjoy what you have and stay as private as possible. Trying to show the world what you have will only lead to misery. The more people that know what you have means there will be that many hands out EXPECTING something from you.

My husband and I are splitting it we live off his half and I get to give away my half. We only buy 2 tickets but it only takes one ticket to win.

Jack Whittaker was well off before he won. Of course he says he wishes he tore up the ticket. He would’ve been fine anyways financially. Everyone else working 2 jobs living paycheck to paycheck, woild never say that

It’s rigged. I keep getting repeated numbers and power numbers even from different locations…. I’ll take the win even if there’s a lottery curse . I accept All the problems

It doesn't matter how much money you win, if you're not educated on how money works you'll blow right through any amount... Not very many people understand how to properly invest money. Ask yourself how would you handle a million dollars...? If you don't understand the concept of compound interest you won't make past maybe a year or two before you're broke again.

It's not hard to put money in an index fund and make like 8% a year 😅 It's not hard to buy cash flowing properties and pay a tax attorney & real estate management company to manage it for you. My plans simple: Win $230,000,000 Then hire toby Mathis *need tax attorneys and asset protection* ✅️ need a good lawyer & estate planner *unless tobys people can handle the estate part* 🤔 A Great accountant *hopefully Ben Affleck if he's available* 😂✅️ And then I'll invest $25mil in the VOO index fund and I'll make around $2m per year. I will invest $5-6 million into real-estate. I will invest $2mil into the voo just for travel living abroad & good karma buying kids school clothes and paying people's rent ect ✅️ & I will live on $60k per year abroad 😊 My house 🏠 I want is $500k and my car is $45k The rest goes into banks or cds until the next market crash 2028-2032😌 then I'm going shopping for opportunities.

I don't know how you go broke when index funds pay like 8% a year 😂 Just drop in $10 million and that's $800k per year. $20 million is $1.6mil per year. $30 million is $2.4 mil per year. And if you can't live on 10-15% of ANY of those amounts for at least 7 or 8 years then you don't deserve money 😒 If your house is paid for and your car is paid for and your debt free? You can EASILY live on $80k per year.......no problem 🚫💁♂️ Invest $10 million make $800k per year < Live on $80k of that and invest the other $720,000 per year and in about 7-8 years your money will DOUBLE in the stock market 👈 When that happens do what you want because now you've made $10mil profit 📈 Anyways if ANYBODY goes broke it's because they are either drug addicts, gambling addicts, or their loved ❤️ one is dying of cancer and their spending EVERYTHING to buy mabye a year of life which financially drains them
