There are always less expensive options, he has just chosen to not make his product unattainable. People will spend $20,000 on a bag when you can find something similar for under $100. I can't understand why people will pay $1,200 and $1,500 for a cellphone when you can find something with the same features for under $200.

Price is influenced by 1️⃣the materials use to make the product 2️⃣production process (hand stitched vs mass production) 3️⃣workers wages 4️⃣shipping & storage costs (products have to be shipped from wherever they are made to a distribution warehouse or direct to consumers) If any part of the process is high end top of the line then it’s going to drive up the cost of the final product 🤑
