never has been this bad before because climate change the hot air dried out all the trees. It's happening in so many places all over the world, Totally out of control massive wildfires bigger than ever seen before. The biggest fire in human history was that one in Australia a few years ago. We saw the smoke from that in New Zealand!!! our sky went a reddish orange ,and white and light coloured things turned that orange colour for the few days. it was like Mars color. Spooky to see another country change colour, but sadly 1 billion animals were burnt to death in Australia. Look that up as sounds unbelievable but actually happened. We need to stop pumping carbon dioxide and methane into our thin atmosphere

Is it possible when you have thousands of homes burn and then gush water from their pipes (whether they shut it off or not ,at that temp everything melts) and *simultaneously * thousands of people using water to save their properties simply made it impossible for water pressure to exist ? YES I am an Engineer... No one has talked about why the 1 reservoir was offline and had no water. Last year, holes were discovered in the floating cover. This allowed contaminants, dirt, bird droppings, and more to fall into water. This reservoir supplies drinking water to the Palisades. It had to be drained until the cover was replaced. It would have had little effect even if filled. The problems are hurricane force winds, flying embers, and low water pressure from too many fire engines pulling water at same time. More fire engines, more firefighters, a filled reservoir, would not have changed the outcome. The fire in Palisades was already too big within minutes of fire engines arriving. Satellite images showed huge plume of smoke from where fire started and all the way out in Pacific Ocean miles away. When the wind is blowing 100 miles per hour, there is nothing that will stop a fire storm. Only so much water available in existing waterlines and too many people were trying to use it at once. Residential waterlines are maybe 6 inches while commercial areas have 12 inches. Only so much water can flow through them. So tired of ignorant blame... can't be fixed because it's not broken. No one is going to rip up streets and put in 10 foot diameter waterlines. Offline reservoir did not cause this firestorm, high wind and low water pressure did. Even engineers at water department said reservoir would have been dry in less than 1 hour if it was full. NEWS FLASH: 1,000 extra fire trucks and 10,000 extra firefighters would have made no difference. The problem is high wind, flying embers, and low water pressure. Helicopters and planes were grounded during high winds. Ground crews evacuated people and the rest is history.
