Unfortunately, something set off a hellish blaze in Los Angeles. Many of them are scared! Many didn't have fire insurance. Many who did, their carriers dropped them and they couldn't find someone to take off where the greedy ones abandoned them. I can't get the last few years out my head, and not only will those ordinary citizens of Los Angeles suffer, many of us will feel their pain in a different way because not all of them will rebuild. Some will relocate for various reasons like many business owners won't stay. Rentals elsewhere just may price gouge and deny it. Rentals nationwide are out of control. Until the majority of people who think they're untouchable realize that they're not, suffering will be just as much the American Way as anything else!

In Oregon, the locals sued the power companies regarding the fires of 2019. Now they shut off our power during the summer all the time and rates went through the roof, some folks got money but not nearly enough for us to no longer have reliable electricity. The wind and fire was to blame, not (in our case) the power company. Be careful of suing or they will just stop providing services they have a monopoly on... It's called climate change and scientist have been screaming for several decades about it and yet still folks deny the climate is changing and not for the better. I seriously worry for my kids and how it's going to be 120+ in the summers for them, cause the older generations (our political class) chose to not do anything about it. Now we all will suffer for the rest of ours, too late to stop now.

I don't get it?? They're waiting 9 hours to go get their medicine from a burnt out home?? I'm sorry but do they think the medicine survived the fire?? Why not just get a new prescription from the doctor to send it to the pharmacy if it hasn't burnt down either??

They advise to put a copy of meds for self, family and pets in the go bag. In a situation like this, any pharmacy can give them a refill (even without reaching the doctor--I think).
