Kids don’t care about a house. They care about their mom being there, not a 6,000 sq ft house.

Maybe she wanted to give them stability...keeping them in the same house. Nevertheless, she didn’t deserve what happened to her.

I understand not wanting to uproot the kids but a 6k square foot home for 6k a month is excessive and I would've downsized immediately.

I agree they should have bought a house outright. It seems neither of them had any real earning potential. She had part-time jobs and they never said if her ex husband ever worked. After they blew the inheritance she became desperate for money, and she made a dangerous choice, sex work.

So sad! There is a certain power in starting over. Although it is usually hard and uncomfortable, hopefully you have learned what not to do, what you will or won't accept, and what YOU really want. As a parent, it allows you to teach your children that sometimes you have to start over whether you want to or not. It teaches them that all the conveniences they have experienced are not a given in life...and that is okay. Starting over also shows them that they can want what they don't have and then work hard to get it. The human ego convinces us that we can't admit mistakes, that we have to have the last word, and that "things" are worth risking our lives over. Tragic falsehood of the human condition. R.i.p Paige. I hope her loved ones can find peace 🙏

If she downsized her house to 2000 square feet her overhead would be cut 2/3 of cost. No one needs 6000 square foot house. It's not just the mortgage, it's taxes , upkeep, landscaping, insurance....... She could have got through this financial bind. Sad, she looks like a nice lady. If you put yourself in this predicament, it won't end well
