As it mentioned in the video, some of her proceeds goes to children in the Detroit area who are in need. So my guess is that maybe a good portion goes to that cause. Also she needs to pay for her supplies to make those candles so a portion of her money goes to that. Of course I'm sure her parents probably allow her to keep some while some of it is put in a savings account for her and perhaps a college fund. That's just my guess though.

Yes you need a business license which I think she probably has through her parents plus she collaborates with the company Bamboo Detroit. You don't need a business degree to run a business, but it helps in today's job market if you do have some type of education in business, same thing applies to almost every field, it gives you a better chance of creating a business or being hired at a company.
