Don't forget the DNC. How they pretty much didn't have a presidential primary, putting roadblocks in the way of any other Democrat to effectively run in the Primary, for example Kennedy, etc., not allowing for Democratic Debates. And the Democrats said that the Republicans were trying to stop the Democratic process, even though it was the Republicans that held a primary with debates, etc. The people behind the scenes had made changes in the process to make sure their chosen person would receive the Democratic Nomination, beginning with SUPER Delegates during 2016. Without those, many believe that Bernie Sanders would have been the Democratic Nominee, same in 2020, Bernie was running ahead and all of a sudden others dropped out and asked their supporters to back Biden, when he was not the clear favorite.
