I like, appreciate, and respect Jaime Raskin. He's an incredible human, representative, and constitutionalist. I so enjoy his segments with @briantylercohen. But I feel the key point was missed. It's not a lot, but every major western democracy has several foreign actors (India, China, and Russia at least) boosting right-wing, isolationist ideology. That number could grow substantially, and it's a worrying thought.

Instead politicians differentiate themselves and divide the population over cultural issues . Those are important , but divisive , and almost unsolvable on a federal scale because of the diversity across the country .
