That proposed train line is a great idea even to this day. It would make getting to Mosman and Manly so much easier, and ease congestion. Maybe it's time to finish what they started a hundred years ago

The real hidden tunnels run from the hungry mile to woollomooloo (?) naval base. All the way across underneath the city. They can still be entered through some of the basements of the buildings on MacQuarie street.

Something I’ve walked past so many times this whole time was a door to the illusive cbd tunnels 😩

It was still a carpark until about 10 years ago (before the recent Wynyard upgrade). Access was via Wynyard Lane. Parking was a bit of a squeeze but relatively cheap for the location!

Bradfield was visionary genius, and our short sighted NSW government failed to live up these rail projects to its full potential. The Northern Beaches do deserve a train service, either operated by Sydney Trains or Sydney Metro. I hope this becomes an annual event to open the Wynyard Tunnels to the general public as part of the Vivid Sydney programme.

Most people on the northern beaches would disagree with you - let's keep the riff-raff downtown.

I visited the tunnels back in 1980, as my employer then rented some of the space there for storage of boxes, files etc. It was filthy, but convenient I guess.

This would be amazing to have this open more often. After 9/11 they stopped a lot of access to these sites. I want to take the family but the tickets are expensive sadly 😢

There are hundreds of humanoid creatures that can run in the speed of light and can pass through walls. My grandfather told me not to come In because he ever saw them. Please don’t ever try to enter the tunnel! You will be teared apart alive. Don’t come in. I am not joking. God blessed.

I'd understand 20 but 50 bucks for this was a scam

vivid might be okay if you're on acid - otherwise it's a waste of time - I would rather see the raw tunnel in its ACTUAL form.
