Good luck Terri ,"Mullum" is now insanely expensive ,a lot of locals are priced out of the area.There is now a lot of jokes about the type of demographic taking over the area. There is other areas that are better than Mullumbimby ,like what it used to be , but you'll need to spend time in the area to find them if that's your situation.I live in the area ,but definitely could not afford mullum.Good luck!
