I remember visiting the city back in 2001. It was so full of a bustling life. People were so generous and kind. I stayed one night there, visiting an archeological site in Hamam Al Turkman. Then hitch-hiked my way back to Raqa. The guy who drove me back insisted to show me further sites (for free). So he took me to the lake, where I could visit an old castle, and the dam. HE was an engineer working at the electric generation station at the dam and he managed to get approvals to get me to the control rooms there. Then he took me to Harun Al Rasheed palace. We ended our day having delicious grilled check in Raqa, where the restaurant owner refused to be paid. It was an unforgettable visit. I never thought in my worst nightmares that this would happen to this beautiful city and its inhabitants.

Islam is based on fear and nothing but a (very powerful) instrument to control and manipulate the people. Why other is Apostasy sued with death in some countries?! This video was very well presented and is a very important for many reasons. It is informative but also very disturbing. The fact that the ISIS fighters and their families were allowed to leave under a negotiated agreement makes no sense. Hope that Jamie Williams has success in his future endeavors. I have a lot of respect for the Kurdish peoples and hope that they are able to return to their homes and hope that the people of Raqqa can rebuild their city and their lives. Great videography and excellent reporting by Matt Brown.

They were allowed to leave for a reason. Their job is done. Now they need them somewhere else. Fast forward a few years, Afghanistan 2021 and Ukraine 2022. They have been spotted fighting with Nazis in Ukraine. There was no ISIS-KS in Afghanistan prior to Sept 2021. They were flown there. Quite a few also ended up in Canada and US as refugees. I volunteered with them until I realized who they were. I immediately withdrew my services.

And tell him that she's an adulteress.he told her "Go away God will leave you .ISIS were killing Christians .Although there is an explicit verse in the Qur’an that says that Christians the lovest people to you.and no one have the right to do anything to them. They had political goals to distort Islam. Poor Raqqa... It looks like Dresden or Berlin after the Allied bombings of World War II. So many innocent people have died, and if not for work of the incredibly brave work of the White Hats, the Drs and nurses even more would have been murdered. Because that's exactly what that kind of indiscriminate bombing is. That area was not a hub of any military complex. The people of Syria are no different than people anywhere else, they just want to live in peace and to go about their lives, to raise their families without fear of barrel bombs, jet strikes or death squads. It seems like the world just doesn't give a shit about Syria and that truly is heartbreaking.
