This was perfect timing as I started 2 leaf paintings yesterday. One watercolor and I laid down an acrylic background on canvas. I tried a few print transfers with the watercolor around the edges of the paper and I am doing 2 red maple leafs by brush in the middle. I've never done an acrylic transfer so your video was a perfect tutorial for me when I get to the canvas. I always enjoy watching you create and I have followed you for a very long time now. Keep creating and thank you!😊

Love this idea! If you need to keep leaves supple, you can use Vaseline rubbed all over both sides. Or artificial leaves will work really well to. X 🎉

I think your work is absolutely stunning. I love watching what you are doing. I have great ideas of trying them out myself. I only have hibiscus leaves. I so love the autumn colours. Keep up your amazing work. I'm watching from the Greek island of Karpathos. We have very very little art supplies here and I have to buy from the Island of Crete and of course all the brands are different to what you show. I am definitely going to give it a try. I want to paint a forest with the front trees to be textured but need to know how to add textured leaves to the canvas. I would have to make my own texture paste. We do have an acrylic polyfiller that comes in a tube. Do you think that would work? I would paint them once they were dry.

Thank you so much for your kind words my dear! ❤️🥰Hibiscus leaves are very pretty too and I’m sure you will get some nice imprints. I can only imagine how gorgeous your island is 😍. Have you seen me making different types of paste in my videos? I sometimes use only wall filler, other times thick gesso; most of the time I mix both (like in my Raven tutorial (@11:13min in); kzbin.info/www/bejne/hnWtZZhvobpkkLcsi=q3-FjIZtHL8juwF8 ) You can also add acrylic paint to your mixture. I’d definitely try acrylic polyfiller …If it’s too sticky, just wait for it to dry a bit 😁
