Okay, one reason why ABC's know more about Korean entertainment is because Kpop has been all over KZbin for a long time, every Korean company or station has an official channel and English subtitles are often readily available. A lot of ABCs consume Kpop because 1) there is hardly any Asian representation in American media so they turn to sources like Korean entertainment which is 2) a lot more accessible to ABCs compared to Chinese entertainment. Nowadays, a lot of Chinese TV stations have official KZbin channels but that isn't a recent thing. Previously, Chinese entertainment just never really attempted to promote itself internationally. So ABCs don't know as much about Chinese entertainment not necessarily because they hate being Chinese or anything, it's just because they had to try harder if they wanted to consume it.

smileveryday1 nice explaination😂😂 but what's more important is that Kpop and Jpop are actually more popular all around the world one must admit😂 China's entertainment industry has just started yet. Many people may criticise ABCs or chinese for 'being too into Kpop or Jpop', but I am OK with it😃

Hwang Chi Yeul is actually got flu and coughing hard at that time. Even until his last rehearsal, he's still not feeling well. But on the night of the show, he nailed Bang Bang Bang so much. Despite he was not in good condition, he's still doing his best and won 1st for that week. So his hard work pays off. You guys should watch another HCY song like A Daily Song , and his performance at Immortal Song. Recommended Episode Baek Jiyoung. HCY is unknown singer at that time and compete with popular singer in Chinese. So I'm so amazed with his talent. Btw, thanks for the review.

Thank you for uploading your reaction video. I hope you guys react HCY'S videos more. Because he's not a Chinese singer but he joined the competition & got good score. And he is a ballad singer not dancing music. If you watch his stages and listen HCY's songs, you may fall in love with him. I hope you also enjoy his various stages.

also, if all or most of these ppl are born and raised in toronto, canada, then they aren't ABC's American Born Chinese. They are CBC's. although you could interpret American as the continent wise, but it is usually referring to the United States....
